I wonder if she minds being typecast as the crazy but attractive wallflower who likes to slaughter and maim every once in a while and usually has a rugged man looking after her that she has to now protect. I would like to ask Summer Glau how it was working with Joss Whedon, and how much did she know about how character's origins during the Firefly run and during the filming of Serenity. I understand that he (Joss Whedon) likes it when his actors have input into the characters that they play and would like to know what particular touches she brought to River.

Oh, and also, I'd like to know what attracted her to this new role in the Sarah Conner Chronicles. Hadn't heard she was in it until I saw a recent ad. Brava!

Okay, here's a serious question: I've seen various feminist critiques of the marketing campaign for the new show, saying that it's sexist because it depicts her as a limbless automaton. How f****ed up is that s***, yo?

my question: Most of her high profile work has been centered around sci fi. does she actively looks for participation in projects that have a scientific/ futuristic grounding, or has the industry slotted her as the actress who should only do the baby faced assassin in sci fi just because her breakout role was in Firefly.

also, despite my love for sci fi, when can we expect to see her in more mainstream fare?

finally, where does she expects to go from here in the next few years.
