Rinspeed's new sQuba is a concept car designed to dive into water. It's made with lightweight carbon nanotubes and has an electric motor, rear wheel drive, propellers and jet drives that propel it up to 33 feet underwater, and zero emissions. It makes its debut at the Geneva Auto Show in March. And yes, it's real. Rinspeed via Designboom

Sweet.
I see a new episode of Top Gear coming.
But it's a convertible?
Perhaps I should make them aware that I can not breathe up to 33 feet underwater.
She's a beauty. I still want that Mercury Mariner, tho
@92BuickLeSabre: did that say amphibious car? it should say amphibian's car. sorry about the mix up.
Oh, see, I thought this was the new way for rich bitches to go fishing.
It will come in handy when my billion dollar beach house is hit by a 100 foot tsunami.
Wait...
@tetracycloide: "It's really a niche market...well, one guy...Aquaman...maybe that Namor dude. But we expect that at least Aquaman will really want one!"
You know if they figured out how to have brake and gas pedals for a flipper Neptune would so be on that. He's always needed a pimp mobile.
@aspiringexpatriate: What, a chariot drawn by dolphins isn't pimp-mobile enough for ya? Hope your not planning any trips by sea anytime soon.
(Cause I'm sure Neptune checks out io9 all the time....and you're busted!)
Yeah, I'm flying by Zeppelin all the way. No 10 years of wandering for me.
34 feet under water, not so much.
That's where the pressure changes? Maybe it was 10 meters and she converted?
Reminds me of this Ghostface song...

I'm ready to mount a dolphin.
@EncephelanetRepairHelperGuy: I'm ready to run one over.
@EncephelanetRepairHelperGuy: Yes but we're talking about means of transport, not recreational bestiality.
Let me tell yoo about transport~
@aspiringexpatriate: is there any other kind?
Very Cool...how do I get one and how much will it cost?
Check out their website, these people got alot of time and money to make all those whacky designs.
