Live-Action Star Wars TV Will Satisfy Your Boba Fettish

Everybody's favorite bounty hunter Boba Fett will have a starring role in the new Star Wars TV series, which takes place between the trilogies. Fett, who was a minor action figure-y character in the original trilogy, appeared as a kid in the prequels when his dad was cloned into a shiny white army. So now we get to see him mature and develop into a well-rounded adult. Or not. So when do we get to see this episodic masterpiece?

Like so many things, it depends on the writers. Four artists are working on designs for the series, but the writers' strike has delayed everything else. But don't despair: George Lucas hopes to make his own deal with the writers, similar to Dave Letterman's, which might let the show hit its target start date of late 2009. [The Force]
