The Naughtiest Dystopian Fetish Comics (NSFW)

tranceptorzz.jpgSome of the wildest adult BDSM comics take place in elaborate future dystopias, where society has broken down and fetish-wear is the survivalist uniform of choice. Often, the backstory of these sexy post-apocalypses includes plagues, killer cyborgs and nuclear holocausts. Are you feeling turned on yet? Click through for our roundup of the sexiest post-apocalyptic worlds, with a very NSFW (seriously!) gallery of boys and girls in dystopian bondage.

Tranceptor by Michael Manning and Patrick Conlon. A bondage/pony-girl/stable-boy/giant lizard epic by the cult fetish artist Manning, also known for The Spider Garden and Cathexis.

Apocalypse how? It's not clear. There's been some kind of global cataclysm that has reduced the world to a crappy industrial wasteland where the living is difficult. Maybe nuclear. Lots of splash pages of the bleak wasteland our characters travel through. And there's mention of "the corps" which keeps drafting all the able-bodied men. The titular Tranceptor is a kind of dominatrix-matriarch who travels around with her sexy pony-girls. She visits the used-up Waystation 56, where people "mine" for disused machines.

The money shot: Well, if you like pony-girls, it's made of money shots. Manning claims in an interview that everyone in Tranceptor wears some kind of futuristic space-age latex that's incredibly strong and pliable. The stable-boy Hyu at Waystation 56 gets initiated into sex by the Tranceptor and her pony-girls, and the Tranceptor has an encounter with a giant lizard, which is probably someone's fetish. Oh, and there's fetish ninja action!

Stiletto by Justine Blanco. An eeevil space pirate who's also sort of a dominatrix captures a ship full of rich men and women, and decides to hold them for ransom. And while she's got them, she decides to have some fun with them.

Apocalypse how?
We don't get many details, but it's obviously an every-rogue-for-herself kind of universe out there. The spaceships are big and spikey with lots of dark metal surfaces inside. And the evil ship's captain has two beast-men helping her, who may be the product of some kind of genetic engineering. One character looks sort of cyborg-y.

The money shot:
The reason that space pirate lady's ship is so huge is to accomodate a massive dungeon, filled with incredibly fancy equipment. Including fancy genital-shaving/enema equipment. The space-pirates seem to have all the time in the world for devising fancy bondage scenarios that are part mindfuck, part regular fuck. Oh, and there are giant spanking machines.

The Great Invasion is the first graphic novel from BDSMArt.com. Webmaster Nuria tells us the site has a high proportion of women visitors, and this story is meant to appeal to women because it's told from the POV of an enslaved woman.

Apocalypse how? It's remarkably detailed. A hundred years from now, the world is divided between two great superpowers. A technophobic Catholic/Islamic pact governs Europe, Africa and part of Asia, and the advanced "techno-militaristic" Red Alliance controls China and Central/South America. Due to incompetent birth-control policies and a new, deadlier strain of AIDS, the Red Alliance faces a demographic crisis. The male-female ratio in China and South America is 30 to 1, meaning extinction is only two generations away. So in 2132, a Chinese scientist devises a virus that targets spermatazoa, and the "Red Alliance" sprays North America with it. All North American males die out within a day. The South and Central Americans wait a year for the virus to die out, then invade and enslave the women.

The money shot: A lot of ">The Great Invasion is deliberately fucked up and brutal. But you have to admire the over-the-topness of the scene where the main character is for sale, with the big floating holographic display listing all her stats. Including "clit sensitivity," which they've figured out how to measure on a scale from 1 to 10. And the big bubble car (which looks electric-powered) with its built-in bondage rack.

  • Nothing says Dystopia quite like a hot babe wrapped in a second skin of black latex!(what?) Interestingly enough, in the bad future, the women are really hot and the men who want them aren't. That's so different than reality.

Charlie, the gallery links themselves (the "previous," "gallery," and "next" links below the photos once you click on one from the main post) don't seem to be working. Obviously, this is problematic in a post of this nature, because we can't be expected to click all the way back to the main post every time we want to see a new picture of naked ladies. We have no patience when it comes to seeing naked ladies! Or rather, drawings of naked ladies!

  • @moff: I just checked, and apparently this has been a bug with a few recent galleries... I've logged it and we'll see if it gets fixed soon. Thanks for the heads up!

  • @moff: yes, we can't waste time between naked ladies!

  • At the comic store I work at we keep these kinds of books in their own special box. We have some younger employees who can't legally sell them Plus they tend to make myself and other female employees uncomfortable. I'm not sure if that unease is down to the subject matter or the demeanor of those (mostly if not all men at our store) purchasing them.
Just because a story is "written from a woman's point of view" doesn't really mean it's meant to appeal to women.

  • @Little Time Bomb: Yeah, I definitely understand your discomfort with these types of comics. And I definitely agree that the female POV doesn't guarantee that women will like it. Thanks for responding!

  • Why would women like this stuff? This is a real question. This is obviously average male fantasy material, which plays into all sorts of wierd, un-resolved mommy issues. It would be like marketing a graphic novel to women: Men with twelve fat inches holstered on their inner thighs. Every muscle bulging. It's all a freak show.

  • the artwork isn't very good. the last book is slightly better than the black and white ones, but in general its all pretty "meh" . the " great invasion" sounds like a somewhat interesting concept, but as its really just porn it will never attain anything. there's allways " y the last man " .

and heinlens " Farnhams Freehold" . wich i recommend.
about a white 50's family finding themselves in a future where white people are kept as slaves .

  • Intriguing.

I think this bears further study...

  • @Jeff-Minor: Although I can see how some women (and men as well) could be disturbed by this material, I do think that there are women who like this type of story. Some women like being dominated, while others like seeing other women dominated. Sexualities can very a great deal.

Anne Rice has actually written a series of books about a woman who has been enslaved, and I would rather doubt that she would write an entire series on the subject if it weren't in some way appealing to her.

  • the artwork, especially in the stiletto pages is meh. I'd like to see more pages of the manning novel. Title page is crap, the 1 page from inside is more promising.

The uncomfortable feeling...well. I as a man feel uncomfortable with that kind of porn. Really uncomfortable. this whole woman = submissive sex slave thing is so all over our culture, adn so many men, hell, friends of mine, consider it normal that they can slap their girlfriends/wives once in a while with the girlfriedn/wives not really minding. I taught a class on Weininger once and it's shocking and ultimately embarrassing, to us, our culture and to everyone among us who just accept these things as "natural", that many of the things seriously warped persons like Weininger wrote, are still, in essence believed by so many and reproduced by our culture. The picture of the submissive woman, I mean, dammit.

so why do some women like this porn? it's a fetish, easy enough. it's not a conscious decision. my sister, who just turned 18 is totally into that kind of stuff and she's baffled.

And as to the ugly men. This is really a minus in mainstream porn. Ugly men. The siffredis are rare in porn or they've become rare. look at a sleazebag like Evan Stone. A major turn-off for me.

  • I'm the type of guy who watches Star Trek hoping that this is the episode where the Borg wins. I get mad when the villain's evil schemes fall flat. That is why I read things like this. The villain finally wins. Yes, that's right, I read vaguely erotic sci-fi porn for the stories. More often than not, these writers are willing to take chances that most "mainstream" works won't take. To me, this kind of thing is nothing more than a B-film with a sex scene somewhere in the middle. (And before anyone brings it up, I do have my limits - no children, no pictures, and no "XXX" nonsense.)

Oh... and a girl who allows her boyfriend to hit her out in public is not a "submissive." She is being abused. The end.

  • "Oh... and a girl who allows her boyfriend to hit her out in public is not a "submissive." She is being abused. The end."

    true.

  • @ghost: Being a submissive or a Dominant is vastly different than all the stereotypes you get from the media i.e. 'slap their girlfriends/wives once in a while with the girlfriedn/wives not really minding'

I'm a woman and I do find the images from The Great Invasion instantly erotic. It doesn't mean that I'd enjoy being tied up, sold, beaten etc. For example most women do have rape fantasies but that does not mean that they enjoy/want it to happen.

  • I know it's different. I am a Dominant and apart from my sister I know several submissives.

So I know it's different but would you not agree at all that in the public consciousness these two things are connected? I am to lazy to look through my psychoanalysis books, but all these guys who are so obsessed with normalcy are indeed claiming that the two are connected.

  • @ghost: I don't get what you mean. Which two things are connected?

  • I'm a chick and I don't find these comics offensive, but I do think they're dull and unimaginative. Certainly someone is happy to read this but it seems like if someone's going to go to the trouble of writing porny comics, why not write something unusual, or something with a real storyline that isn't just "flying around the universe having pervert sex". Is there an adult comic that has a developed storyline, sympathetic characters, and dramatic plot, that also includes adult themes? Those adult themes don't have to just be straight missionary sex - they can and should be pervy too - but I want something that doesn't seem so .. I dunno, ridiculous, as a bunch of sex-starved space dominatrices. This kind of erotic comic just seems very lowest-common-denominator...I'd read erotic/adult comics if they were engaging somehow as well as hot.

Wouldn't one eventually get tired of sex? Wouldn't skintight latex outfights be a liability when repelling boarders? And why do all 80s dystopian future movies make future people look like 80s punk rockers?

    Enquiring minds want to know.

  • @Jeff-Minor: "...average male fantasy material..."
    ???
not surprised at this I guess...I always thought of myself as average...guess I'm not.

  • The whole idea just looks like a typical product of the patriarchal capitalist system; all-perfect women, gigantic phallus-shaped spaceships etc. Designed to sell and -though the political scene in The Great Invasion sounds a bit interesting- make the adolescents get excited, or some older guys fantasize about them. I think these are the nightmares of Ursula K. LeGuin.

  • I guess only time will tell if my Amazon Cyber Witches and their cyborg pleasure servers will be popular.

  • Tranceptor is my favorite. Love the way Manning portrays the pony-girls. Brilliant work!

  • Anyone ever read the "Faust" series...? I'm almost afraid to ask....
