We're here to spoil your morning, with some inside scoop on a surprising report about the filming for an upcoming Lost episode, plus some new hints about who gets laid in Battlestar Galactica. Meanwhile, some new plot info for Terminator 4 has trickled out. And we get confirmation on a worrying Doctor Who rumor. And there are a couple of new stills from the animated Batman DVD. Spoilers await, below the fold.
Terminator 4:
Terminator 4 will be about the relationship between John Connor and Kyle Reese, who is destined to go back in time and become Connor's dad. It'll be just like the Star Wars prequels, which were about the relationship between Anakin and Obi-Wan. Except that Kyle and John are friends and father and son, and John knows he has to send Kyle back in time. And the movie might be connected somehow to The Sarah Connor Chronicles, even though the show contradicts Terminator 3. [ScreenRant]
Meanwhile, here's a new description of the movie's storyline: the teenage Kyle Reese (Anton Yelchin), one of the children who've survived a nuclear holocaust caused by intelligent machines, befriends Marcus (Sam Worthington), who's an early version of the Terminator cyborg. The good news is Paul "Crash" Haggis may be rewriting the script. {Screen Rant]
Battlestar Galactica:
Some spoilers for the Battlestar season four opener went online. But just to be incredibly annoying, the writer included one false spoiler, and you have to guess which one it is. Lee Adama wonders whether his dead brother was a Cylon and Tigh shoots Admiral Adama, but not fatally. Meanwhile, Baltar discovers a shrine in his honor and has sex with a non-Cylon female. Starbuck believes she's only been gone a matter of hours, and there's something strange about her Viper. Tyrol and Sharon pick up their romance again after Sharon learns Tyrol's a Cylon. And Anders makes eye-contact with a Cylon centurion (which we've already seen happen in the clips.) My guess for the false spoiler? Sharon cheating on Helo with Tyrol. [Digital Spy]
Doctor Who:
I think this is all information we've blogged before, but in any case here's the official plot description of the Doctor Who season four opener:
Donna Noble is determined to find the Doctor again - even if it means braving the villainous Miss Foster and her hordes of sinister Adipose, as Russell T Davies's Bafta Award-winning time-travelling drama returns for a fourth series. But when the alien threat escalates out of control, can Donna find her Time Lord before the march of the Adipose begins?Given Russell T. Davies' habit of making fun of fat people, I'm a tad nervous about the alien monsters being called the Adipose. Oh, why am I worrying? I'm sure it'll be perfectly tasteful. [SpoilerTV]
Lost:
The funeral Sayid attends in the next Lost episode is Nadia's, and it happens in Tikrit, Iraq, according to an extra who was on set. [Lost Spoilers]
And an upcoming episode features a scene at the barracks, featuring Sawyer, Locke and Hurley. Sawyer talks to a group of kids. And then there's a scene where one of the barrack houses is on fire, and "tons" of soldiers in military uniforms and war paint, clutching guns, storm the barracks. [Lyly Ford]

"Lee Adama wonders whether his dead brother was a Cylon"
What's the point? Human or Cylon, Zac is even less relevant than Boxy. (Or is he?)
@Tim Faulkner: And what the hell happened to Boxy!?! What was the point of even introducing him?
And will this final season finally see an appearance by Dirk Benedict?
Am I the only one that thinks Gotham Knight looks awfully animated? I hate the look of it. Then again, I'm sick of anime-styled animation.
On the same note, I'm dreading the next "Fat people are teh ebil" plot on Doctor Who. And Donna was one of the most annoying guest stars on the show.
Terminator 4 story has some promise.
Adama has already been shot, Why go there again?
Dr. Who, looks good. Bring back Peter Davidison.
Lost, you already know I don't care.
Batman, go for it.
According to Ron Moore, Boxy was going to offer a look at the action form the point of view of a regular, non military, non political person but they decided to drop his story early on because there wasn't any room to go watch an orphan do the Oliver Twist arc. Which is a wise decision, I think. If you have a tight script and something needs to be cut, do you get rid of the Helo/Boomer story, the Apollo/Starbuck relationship, Baltar's insanity or the poor little orphan not connected to anyone else in the show?
@Macloserboy: Wouldn't it have been great if, in the final moments of season 3's finale, Starbuck's Viper pulls alongside Apollo and when Apollo looks across, it's Dirk smiling back at him, giving his little wave/salute?
@Tim Faulkner: I'm just thinking I'd rather see Dirk Benedict rather than another political intrigue storyline with Richard Hatch, who takes this stuff far too seriously.
@Macloserboy: Fortunately, it's impossible to take Hatch seriously. Or unfortunate, I don't know.
Not reading spoilers... will not look... not reading spoilers... must resist...
"Lee Adama wonders whether his dead brother was a Cylon and Tigh shoots Admiral Adama, but not fatally."
I hope the Tigh shooting Adama is the fake... because if it isn't... yay for recycled plotlines.
Adama gets shot by a Cylon sleeper agent... AGAIN. I can just imagine Adama screaming at the top of his longs "GODS DAMMIT! HOW MANY FRAKKIN' CYLONS WE GOT ON THIS TUB ANYWAY?"
@itsburnsie: I said top of his "longs"... tee hee.
I mean lungs... of course.
You all trippin'. Gaius doesn't sleep with humans... they're not his type.
Now if by "Sharon" they mean "Boomer" that would be awesome!
i posted this late in the day on an older battlestar related thread, but here is my lovingly hand crafted iphone wallpaper to celebrate bsgs return

The Adama-getting-shot-again story has to be the fake. However, if that is indeed the case, then WHAT THE FRAK?!?! in regards to the other ones.
And LOST... military? That would explain the WTF shootings of Alex's boytoy and mother last nite. The super hardcore sniping seemed a bit more professional than what the Boaties are capable of as evidenced in 'Kevin Johnson"'s flashback i.e. crazy hicks with guns.
in those clip promos, there's less than a second of an image of tigh holding a gun on adama, but does he shoot?
and i also think there was about a half second of an explosion..it looked like the galactica.
i agree that the false rumor is tyrol/sharon shaggin'. he might confide in her but i doubt that too.
it's gonna be a good season.
"My guess for the false spoiler? Sharon cheating on Helo with Tyrol"
But that is not the Sharon cylon, that is the cylon from caprica that Helo was paired up with according to the cylons plan. She isn't the one who was with Tyrol and shot Adama, that Sharon is on a base ship somewhere.
Did I get that right?
@t3knomanser:
I have to agree, I'm not fond of american/anime mix-ups either. It's like a punch in the face.
i hope the big g gets seriously messed up this season. Like one of its docking bays sheared off in order to take out a basestar or something.
mwake1, you're right. Sharon/Athena is the one who was with Helo on Caprica, married Helo, had Hera, and is currently a pilot and Lt. on Galactica. She's never been involved with Tyrol.
Sharon/Boomer was the one on Galactica during season 1, was involved with Tyrol, shot Adama, was shot by Caly, and is now back with the other Cylons.
I can see Tyrol and Boomer resuming things. Their relationship and his covering for her during Season 1, even with neither one consciously knowing they were Cylons, makes a lot more sense now.
I'm surprised you didn't run with a screen cap of Jack and Ianto from "Adrift". ;-p
