The kid-friendly feature, which updates the old "How to draw Mickey Mouse"-style tutorials with a new art style, a history lesson about manga and the new aim of drawing a character that looks nothing like the character that you're trying to draw, brings new levels of shame on the Lucasfilm extended brand family with commentary like:

Well, that sucks. The lamest art instruction I have ever read. "Lightly sketch this head using [decent level of detailed instruction on drawing outline of head], now draw these elaborate eyes and detail features!"

Not all manga is creepy shoujo lolita that looks like Sailor Moon rejects.
I'm imagining Jar Jar Binks with bangs over each eye stalk. I think it is an improvement.
