The first trailer for Will Smith's drunken-superhero movie Hancock was mostly a litany of scenes where Smith crashes into stuff and causes mayhem, and it looked like a less likeable version of Greatest American Hero. But this new trailer, which aired during last night's American Idol, shows a more rounded version of Hancock, including some of the upside of his heroic career. The new trailer also shows more of the film's overall story arc, which seems a bit less one-note, and throws in more of Smith's trademark charm. It still doesn't look like a great movie, but it looks like it might actually be sort of fun. [MovieWeb]
