Here's a cameraphone copy of the Batman: The Dark Knight trailer which showed in New York yesterday and then popped up on YouTube. I joined the Clown Gang in New York for a rendezvous, which led to a trailer screening. Blink and you'll miss the first appearance of a major new Bat-villain. Minor spoilers ahead.
New York City Clown Gang George, Christopher and Keelin wait in line for the trailer.
Following the clues from the disfigured presidents on their eerie why so serious site, I joined the rest of the Clown Gang in New York City's Bryant Park. We were lead to a theater where they screened the new trailer that premiered at NYCC. As we first reported the Joker continues on his, "Kill the batman," discourse and gathering of criminals for chaos. It all was the same except for one major moment that I can not believe I missed in the first screening, I must have blinked, it's that fast. White night Harvey Dent has a voice over where he says,"You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain." Then Dent is seen on the floor screaming no as we described before but then in an instant, a mere instant, and I hope my eyes weren't playing tricks on me you see a silhouetted man with hair like Dent. This person is scratching the side of their face with a gun. The very tip of his nose and along the side of his profile appears to be flaky and black, like the edge of a burn mark. Here's a blurry screengrab:
It happened so fast I had to grab three fans afterwards to confirm that I wasn't hallucinating. They all concurred it was the first screen shots of Two Face. Take a look (if you can make it out) and let me know what you think.
More fans in line for the trailer screening.

I want to know how a guy like the Joker finds lackeys...a want ad?
Wanted: A gang of psychopaths willing to dress like clowns and slaughter indiscriminately. Must like purple suits and mayhem.
@Balius: I'd answer that want ad.
I like me some mayhem.
@Balius: How's the dental?
The "burn marks" could be cellphone video artifacts.
I'll wait for the high resolution trailer.
@Balius:
look on craigs list under "misc romance?"
@Balius: The answer is $.
@Slothrop: missed connections.
you: potentially homicidal maniac on the subway, robbing an old lady.
me: clown-faced sociopath with bat issues, who admired your knife skills.
@Balius: I always wondered about the henchman....that would be a sweet job the benefits are prolly through the roof...If you all actually manage to take over the world your set for life. plus you always get cool uniforms
@Balius: Also, I think that the first round of henchmen might not be so hard.
I wonder how he finds the, like, eighteenth group of henchmen, and has to explain the situation to them.
"Look, I'm not going to lie. Batman's going to show up, and he's going to beat the crap out of you guys. But there's a really, really good chance--kind of a slim chance, actually, but it definitely exists--that while Batman is grinding your face into the pavement and breaking your elbows and shit, I totally might be able to get away with robbing the jewelry store.
So. Are you in?"
They're foreshadowing Dent's transformation into Two Face which doesn't happen until the end of the movie.
This is the real missed connections:
You: A group of losers dressed in clown outfits waiting in line.
Me: An out of control plow truck.
@Balius: Didn't they cover that in Sealab, when Sparks became a villain?
@braak: That's what Henchmen Resources is for. They also help you get your uniform, be it Clown masks, Egyptian garb, or Winter parkas.
@Shai: Yeah, let's kill people for taking part in something they enjoy! Let's kill people for having fun!
@Git Em SteveDave: Yup, they did. Happy Cake Oven episode.

@Shai: let's not hate on enthusiasm.
Wasn't there a comic about Henchmen a while back? I want to say it was called "Hench", but I don't remember for sure...
Season Two, Episode Two of The Venture Brothers, we see Henchman #21 at a sidewalk card table setup, complete with banner, recruiting new henchmen for The Monarch.
It ends badly for the new henchmen.
commented for the korn t-shirt.
really?
@Balius:
Who WOULDN'T answer that ad, is the real question.
@Balius: Extras casting
easy enough to find clowns on this website.
i propose that WB stop making batman trailers. i have seen enough & want to watch the movie and experience suspense. i want to WANT the movie, yeah?
@Shai: You: reading these posts because your just as excited.
Me: not giving a crap what you think
@wingbatwu: Actually the "burn marks" were what Meredith saw when she watched the new trailer in a theater...
@Balius: I think you go to an Insane Clown Posse show and hand out flyers.
I never liked Two Face. Not that a lot of people would "like" him as a person but I never saw a lot of potential for his character. I hear there have been a lot of really good stories written in the comics for him but I don't follow batman comics.
Really it was only the Dark Knight animated series that gave me any interest in Batman. I think the case could be made that that series brought back American animation of any quality.
Here's hoping Dark Knight does well, because it sure would be grand if they did film versions of "Batman: The Last Arkham."

Isn't this two-face in this Dark Knight teaser trailer?
