Is there room for a eco-friendly Christine remake? It looks like car horror is back, judging from the Cannes teaser poster for the thriller Hybrid, which leaked out today. There isn't much out there on this movie other than this brief description, "A female mechanic spends one night of terror trapped with a Hybrid car in a Chicago police garage." Eric Valette (One Missed Call) is set to direct and he's already cast Shannon Beckner. And Oded Fehr (face tattoos from The Mummy, Resident Evil: Apocalypse) is also attached to this project. If this movie does turn into a saga of machines turning against their makers, please let it be a Prius. And if so, I hope Al Gore goes to the premiere.[Bloody Disgusting]
