    Lost's Island Castaways Get Some More Elbow Room

    Worried that island castaway show Lost is getting too fast-paced? Never fear: The producers have pulled the emergency brake. The final two seasons will each be one hour longer than originally planned, to compensate for the strike-shortened fourth season. So the 2009 and 2010 seasons will each have 17 hours. Producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof had already warned that season five might seem a little slow and meandering compared to the breakneck pace of the current episodes. [Sci Fi Wire]
