Smallville fans rejoice: Chloe Sullivan isn't exiting the show anytime soon. TV Guide reports that "after weeks of tense negotiations, Allison Mack (Chloe) has sealed the deal to return." While Guide thinks that she leveraged Michael Rosenbaum's departure to get a pay hike. I'm guessing the price didn't go too high. After all, the shows reps have to know this whole show is over soon anyways, right? Either way I'm glad to see this sassy character returning. Now there will be more 'feisty lady journalist' scenes, not to mention more damsels in distress. Also, the socially conscious archer Green Arrow may be returning. Tonight's the season finale for Smallville — here's hoping they'll kill off Supergirl instead of Chloe. [TV Guide]

I went to grad school with a woman who was best friends with Allison Mack.
She has yet to introduce me.
As far as I know, Chloe has yet to prance around in her skimpies, which Kara has.
Reason to keep SupesGirl on right there.
Fuck em all, I don't even watch the show, but I want more Lois. She is way hotter than both Chloe and Lana.
yes, Mack needs to make with the partial nudity. She's the only one that hasn't yet.
@Log1c: can't agree, Chloe is the only appealing character on the show.
Good, Smallville will still be worth watching!
are you freaking mad??? supergirl is smok'n hot (not to mention a bigger character in the superman world than chloe) chloe needed to be killed off long ago, lets get along with the story line. we all know how it should go lets get lois and clark together finally.
I've always thought that Chloe was more like Comics Lois than Lois is on that show.
I've also not watched an episode in several seasons, so my opinion is totally out of date and probably wrong.
@Mathmos: I second that. Loudly and at great length usually.
Meh, I thought it was a good time for her to leave my favorite show on TV right now. Move it along, and make the 8th and final season Clark, Lois, Supergirl, and Jimmy, thus transitioning to the 'Superman' we all know and love. I guess its fine she's sticking around, enough to give her a proper goodbye, instead of a freak coma or paralyzation in one episode. Give her a big story arch goodbye next season.
@Plague: Giddy up.
I've seen Alison Mack in Person once when I used to work at a Blockbuster. I have to say, she is 10 times more beautiful in person...and usually it's the other way around from film to real life.
I hope they get rid of supergirl. Concentrate on Lois and Clark, it'll be AWESOME
They really need to kill this lady, or retcon her into some character we know about already. Chloe is kind of a ball and chain type of character.
Okay so let's be serious. The person we need to get rid of is CLARK! When's the last time Tom Welling even took his shirt off?! NOT MAKING THE GRADE!
They need to revamp this show into an all-girl power group, who fights crime by dancing provocatively.
Black Canary, Chloe, Lois, Lana and Kara.... Yep. That's all we need.
@Pope John Peeps II: You raise an important point here. And an all-girl power version of Smallville would actually get me watching again. If Black Canary got a less ridiculous costume.
@Pope John Peeps II:
I'd watch that. Bubble baths, superpowers and pillow fights.
This show was doomed from the moment they decided to put Metropolis in Kansas.
@Charlie Jane Anders: Isn't that what the producers tried with Birds of Prey?
*shudder* Birds of Prey...
Anyway, since we've seen a couple "What If" storylines on Smallville, I'm kinda curious about a What If Clark told Lex his secret from the beginning kinda story.
Hey, as long as they avoid more Kryptonite Gum stories, I'm good. (I know they won't)
Yay, Chloe's back!
@Dunny0: Nope, Lois on Smallville still sucks, she even slept with her boss this season.
Early in the show, before Lois was introduced Chloe used the pen name of Lois Lane when turning in an article. Chloe's character is and always has been much closer to what Lois should be than Lois herself.
Here's hoping they come up with some complex story arc that sees Lois dying and Chloe taking her name and becoming the Lois Lane for the duration of the story.
