First Picture Of Viggo Mortensen In The Road

This morning's spoiler harvest includes the first picture from the movie adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's The Road. And actors have spilled some new info about two comic-book movies: Incredible Hulk and The Dark Knight. Plus, there are tons of spoilers (and rumors) for the upcoming Doctor Who two-parter, and an early forecast for seasons five and six of Lost. And finally, we've found a few clues about the fall's episodes of Heroes, Smallville and Chuck. It's all spoilers from here on.

The Road:

Here's the first image from the movie adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's post-apocalyptic novel The Road, showing Viggo Mortensen and Kodi Smit-McPhee. [Row Three]

Incredible Hulk:

Christina Cabot plays Major Kathleen "Kat" Sparr in the new Hulk movie. Originally written as a male character, Sparr is a decorated soldier with a technical bent, who masterminds the strategic aspects of the hunt for the Hulk. Most of her scenes are with William Hurt's General "Thunderbolt" Ross. [Moviehole via ComicBookResources]

Batman: The Dark Knight

In The Dark Knight, Jim Gordon gets promoted to commissioner. And he has a better role than in Batman Begins, including a character arc and a very emotional scene with Two-Face at the end of the movie, says actor Gary Oldman. The police's official policy is still to arrest Batman, but Gordon is working with him. [Wizard via ComicBookResources]

Doctor Who:

Here are some Doctor Who spoilers you may not have seen for the remaining episodes of season four. In the library two-parter, airing in a week and a half, Donna gets married (again!) to a man named Lee, who carries her over the threshold. And Donna meets a woman wearing "widow's weeds" and there are six children in the background. Donna is tells the widow, "Stop talking about my children like that," and "What are you wearing that stupid veil for?" At one point, Donna is put in an ambulance. (My theory: the library contains "spoilers" about your own future, and so Donna is seeing her future marriage, children and maybe widowhood.) River Song (Alex Kingston from E.R.) has her own sonic screwdriver, and the Doctor finds the fossilized remains of Miss Evangelista (Talulah Riley). Donna ends up in a hospital where she meets a Doctor Moon. And then of course there are those "Data Ghosts" and the phrase "If you want to live, count the shadows." Early spoilers about this two-parter caused writer Steven Moffat to exclaim "That's enough!"

In episode 10, "Midnight," the Doctor visits a Chinese flea market on another planet. [Doctor Who Forum]

Lost:

A female Lost cast member who's been a regular since season one will not be back for the fifth season. This person's contract has been "put into a holding deal" and the plan is for her to come back in season six. Also, the teleporting and time traveling stuff will be happening way more in the coming seasons than it has so far. [E! Online]

Smallville:

As we mentioned, Davis Bloome aka Doomsday tries to pick up Lois when he meets her at Ace Of Clubs, where he bartends. But Davis is a bit of a "Jekyll and Hyde" figure. Also, Lois says she can't stop thinking about a man who is "confusing, mysterious and oddly sexy." Which could be Clark, even though none of those adjectives really apply to him, except maybe "confusing." And "odd." [E! Online yet again]

Heroes:

Heroes is putting some "big plot points and answers" in play for season three. In the first couple of episodes, Sylar slices open the head of someone you may consider the show's biggest star. (Doesn't sound like he or she dies though. I'm guessing it's Claire or Peter, and s/he regenerates. There's confusing wording about "we also learn exactly what he does" when Sylar cuts open our heroes' heads — does "he" refer to Sylar or the victim?) [E! Online again]

Chuck:

More hints that a debonair big star is going to join the Chuck cast as an eminence grise brought in to train Chuck. I think I vaguely remember hearing a rumor six months ago that this was going to be Roger Moore — but I think he turned it down. [E! Online once again]
