Frank Miller's movie adaptation of Eisner's classic comic, The Spirit won't be a clone of his noir-gasm comic and movie Sin City, despite that black-and-white-and-red trailer we showed a while back. Miller, who's directing the new movie, insists in a new blog entry that The Spirit "only resembles Sin City in that I am its director, and, well, yes, I have my ways and my proclivities. Luckily, I was able to discern three important proclivities I share with the Master. We both love good stories. We both love New York City. And we both love beautiful women." But the actual movie will be in full color — although the Spirit's trademark blue suit will be black, because the blue version just looked too campy on screen. [Geeks Of Doom]
