Some of the most magnificently cheesy Star Wars art I have ever seen is hanging on the walls at Big Rock Ranch, the building on Skywalker Ranch where Lucas Animation is housed. Earlier this week, while I was waiting to interview Clone Wars director Dave Filoni (more on that tomorrow), I was set free to wander the halls of Big Rock Ranch with my camera. I wasn't surprised by all the gorgeous original film posters from classic Westerns, old Hollywood, and Samurai movies. But I was a little startled by the airbrushed Leia in front of a purple background with lightning; and there was a pencil drawing of Anakin that I could swear Lucas must have bought from a fan site (maybe he did?).
