Nite Owl's Ship Has More Curves Than A Race TrackWe admired Nite Owl's ship at Comic-Con, and now the latest Watchmen video diary is a behind-the-scenes look at the making of it. The actual ship is a curvaceous wonder, and as with all things Zack Snyder, attention is being paid to every single set detail so we can have our very own living breathing comic book. Also the production designer Alex McDowell wrote a fake diary entry on his blog that reads like "The Adventures Of Alex And Zack Snyder." Click through for more pictures from McDowell's "discovery" and then watch a video of him building it. I have to admit, the ship looks pretty stellar. I'm excited to see it take off over an alternate history New York, but to be honest the cheesily breathless narration in McDowell's diary of his journey into Nite Owl's real-life lair leaves me a bit cold. So it's a good thing the diary includes a whole mess of black and white stills over at AICN. I have a feeling we're in for a long road of Watchmen hype until its release on March 6, 2009.
