The latest project from Dark Knight and Watchmen production company Legendary Pictures is bringing them back towards our wheelhouse... and also revisiting that favorite SF trope, the alien invasion and occupation. The untitled TV miniseries, written by Eminem cohort Matt Cirulnick (he wrote the script for the rapper's 2000 web cartoon The Silm Shady Show), follows the sole escapee from a concentration camp where our new alien overlords have imprisoned humanity as he builds a human resistance movement. As long as we end up with an uprising as exciting as Conquest of The Planet Of The Apes, I think it's safe to say that everyone will tune in. [Variety]
