In the early 1960s, RCA produced a promo film that, in this clip, used very simple animation, shots of fruit baskets and beauty queens, as well as a bunch of hyperbole to explain, among other things, why the "miracle of compatibility" meant you could watch all your favorite black and white shows on your new color set.
