They're doing it again! With the brain surgery in the back of a moving van and shiny computers that can magically find 150-year-old articles about obscure murders online! We've all had that *facepalm* moment when reading or watching a scifi tale. Why couldn't the writers spend five minutes researching things like, I dunno, GERM THEORY? Or how about going online themselves to figure out that search results on the internet are mostly spam, not perfectly relevant information that solves your science mystery?
