Avatar:

We already posted a pic of James Cameron and Sam Worthington on the set of 2009's alien-world movie, but here are a couple new details as well. As we'd heard before, Worthington plays a veteran who's paralyzed from the waist down. (Which is why he ends up inhabiting a synthetic alien body, or "avatar.") Says Cameron, he "ultimately becomes a leader who transforms the world." [L.A. Times]

Captain America: The First Avenger:

Supposedly this movie takes place entirely during World War II, and it ends with Captain America getting frozen in a glacier, so he can be defrosted in the Avengers movie that comes out soon afterwards. Also, Tony Stark's daddy Howard designs Cap's shield. [UGO]

Lost:

A local TV station got a look at the season premiere and posted tons of details. The episode covers two separate timelines — one right after the Oceanic Six got off the island, and one three years later, when Ben and Jack meet at Locke's wake. We learn that Alpert told Locke the Oceanic Six must return to the island. Hurley and Sayid are a team, and Hurley gets some great one-liners. Like, when Sayid turns down some french fries, Hurley says: "You know, maybe if you ate more comfort food, you wouldn't have to go around killing people."

Meanwhile, back on the island, we catch up with the survivors, and see that the Swan Hatch and beach camp keep disappearing and reappearing in different states. Faraday knows more than he's letting on about what's happened, and he'll go against the "rules" of time travel in an effort to fix the past. And there are hints that Juliet and Sawyer are hooking up.

Meanwhile, Locke is on his own, not with the rest of the castaways. We see more of the dead characters, including Ana-Lucia, and the Virgin Mary statues will reappear. [The ODI]

Meanwhile, a New Zealand magazine gave more details on the "young Sayid" storyline we mentioned a while back:

Naveen Andrews will be replaced this season in Lost by another actor. But before fans become outraged, the replacement will be around 10 years old and will play his character Sayid as a boy. Producers are casting a father and two sons, all fluent in Arabic, for a flashback in which we see Sayid as a gentle and meek disappointment to his father until his dad teaches him a lesson that leaves scars we see in today's Sayid.

Plus there are a ton of set photos, including ones showing a Dharma van crashed into a barracks. Plus photos showing the "bomb tower" (where a bomb is being lowered into the ground) and a mysterious school. More pics at the links. [SpoilersLost and SpoilersLost]
