Transformers 2 Set Pics Deepen The Mystery. And Star Trek Pics Beautify Your Desktop

Wake up with spoilers! We have exclusive Transformers 2 set pics. And there's Lost premiere mega-scoopage, including Sawyer's unfortunate misconception. Giant, high-res Star Trek pics. Wonder Woman and Clone Wars pics. Spoilers jolt your brain!

Star Trek:

Paramount released some pics as part of its 2009 presskit. We've seen all of these Trek pics before, but maybe the Enterprise pic is slightly different than the one that was in Entertainment Weekly a while back. Plus, there's a cute Monsters Versus Aliens pic. Click them to enlarge, they should be able to pop up to about 1280 pixels wide. [Paramount]

Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen:

Eagle-lensed reader Landon Howell sends us these set pics from Los Angeles, including what seems to be the House of Representatives. And what's up with that crate with the hole torn out of the side? And those ancient artifacts? [Landon Howell]

Meanwhile, that Empire Magazine article didn't just include shiny pictures. It also included plot details. Like, the Fallen definitely is a separate character, and he's "Apocalyptic." The pyramids are a huge part of the movie's story, and the hieroglyphs actually tell the story of giant robots visiting Earth long ago. Megatron really, really is dead, and won't be back in the new movie. At all. He won't be back as a tank. He won't be back for a prank. Also, Ramon Rodriguez will play Mikaela's friend Leo. And Devastator is approximately 50 feet tall. [TFormers]

Lost:

Plenty of reviews of the season's first two episodes are online now. The first episode starts with an off-kilter, confusing opening sequence, that will remind you of season two's cold open. (And at least three people die in the opening sequence.) The show's new structure involves lots of jumping around in time, Pulp Fiction-style, forming a puzzle you'll have to solve over the whole season.

That said, we pick up where we left off, with Ben and Jack in the funeral parlor, and we learn right away why the Oceanic Six must return to the island. Also, we find out why Sun thinks her interests and Charles Widmore's coincide. Early on in the first episode, we also revisit the Arrow Station, where the Tailies hid out in season three, and learn its purpose. (And the Arrow Station may be why Charles Widmore is interested in the island.) We find out what happened when Ben turned that wheel. We learn why Locke died. We meet some "others" who aren't Others.

There's tons of Sawyer, who's shirtless throughout the first episode, in both episodes. Sawyer believes Kate and everyone else died when the boat blew up, and he says things like, "I wanted to make sure she—I wanted to make sure they got back to the boat. Doesn't matter now, does it?" and "Everybody I care about just blew up on your damn boat. I know what I can't change."

We also see a lot of Hurley in the first two episodes. Hurley has a funny T-shirt, and gives an entertaining recap of the story so far. Sayid sleeps his way through one of these two episodes (probably because he gets shot.) And Sayid and Ben are suddenly on really bad terms. Plus having to work with Ben to get back to the island further splinters the Oceanic Six and exposes new fault lines and old grudges. Sun is hell-bent on revenge for Jin's supposed death. And Jack and Kate are no longer even friends. Meanwhile, both Jack and Juliet look mournful whenever one of them hears the other mentioned.

Daniel Faraday emerges as a huge player, in the first episode but also the whole season. Daniel has a crush on Charlotte (whom Sawyer calls Ginger) and she starts to appreciate Daniel's affection more.

The Oceanic Six's lies, including Kate claming to be Aaron's mom, are catching up with them. Sayid makes good use of a dishwasher. Penny and Desmond get a message from "the great beyond" that shocks them out of their romantic travels. There's an intriguing plot twist involving Charlotte, and you should keep your eye on the night sky.

There are tons of cameos from important figures in the show's past mythology, and one polarizing figure from the past is redeemed and gets a great line of dialogue. Lots of dead characters turn up. Two characters who weren't married the last time we saw them have since wed. [EW and Zap2It and GiveMeMyRemote and Televisionary and E!Online]

Meanwhile, someone who was an extra in episode 5x04 appeared in scenes where Desmond visits Oxford University wearing cold-weather clothes and seeking someone or something. [The ODI]

Plus the show's producers offer a few new spoilers. There will be a new Geronimo Jackson song. We'll learn why Christian Shephard wears white shoes. Ben won't be getting a new love interest. We'll revisit the four-toed statue in season five, but more in season six. [E! Online]

Heroes:

The ODI just wrote to me to let me know the Spanish spoilers I posted the other day were actually fakes — apparently Spain has its own April Fools' Day, and it falls in December. Those spoilers include some shocking deaths, the return of Monica, Parkman's ex giving birth, and a few other things. Sorry about that! [The ODI, via email]

To make it up to you, here's the official description for the next episode:

Three weeks after the destruction of both Primatech and Pinehurst, and the death of Arthur Petrelli, the now-villainous Nathan returns with a vengeance by persuading the U.S. President and the government to round up all people with abilities, leading to Claire, Ando, Hiro, Matt, Peter, as well as Tracy to become fugitives from the people who were their former allies.

[The ODI]

Star Wars: The Clone Wars:

This show — which really is a fun disposable action adventure — is back on Friday. Anakin and Obi-Wan are searching for Count Dooku, but he's already been captured by pirates. Pirates! Gangster-like intergalactic pirates, to be exact. And we'll explore how Dooku fell from Jedi-hood. Here is a pic, click to biggify. [Warner Bros.]

Dooku Captured

And here's a new trailer:

Wonder Woman:

The studio put out a new Q&A with the direct-to-DVD movie's writer. The film includes her origin and all of her "iconic elements," like the invisible jet, and looks at how they would shape her into a hero in the modern world. Diana and Steve Trevor have a cool scene in a bar, and there's also a "Steve interrogation scene," maybe involving the lasso of truth. Says writer Michael Jelinic:

Ultimately, we wanted to explore her journey of discovery. She's been raised to believe that women don't need men, that women are morally better. If there is a message to the film, it's basically that men and women are not perfect. Men have their problems. Women have their problems. And when they interact, these problems often grow. But at the end of the day, men and women are actually stronger and better when they work together to overcome these problems.

And here are some pics, including a character named Alexa praying and hiding from an intimidating opponent during a battle scene, Steve Trevor (Nathan Fillion) being interrogated by Artemis (Rosario Dawson) and Hippolyta (Virginia Madsen). And the White House on fire! [Warner Bros.]

True Blood:

Don't call Sam a werewolf! Sam Trammell appears on TV Watercooler and talks about being a shapeshifter. [SpoilerTV]

Additional reporting by Katharine Duckett.
