New book by Seth Grahame-Smith, titled Pride And Prejudice And Zombies, hopefully reads like this: "I could easily forgive his pride, if he had not mortified mine, so I ate his brains."
I'm not sure what to think of this. While I applaud the use of zombies in classic literature, I wonder what Ms. Austen would think about her ladies enacting revenge upon the men — not with their mordant wit, but with teeth and undead claws. The book Pride And Prejudice And Zombies follows Elizabeth Bennet in her quest to rid the world of rude zombies.
