Doctor Who Does Dubai — And You Are There!

Exactly how will Doctor Who deal with the dilemma of the demolished bus? It's a spoiler! Also, a new Watchmen TV spot gives new glimpses. Plus Torchwood rumors, Lost clips, Transformers theology, and Smallville shockers.

Watchmen:

Laurie Juspeczyk gets a cool monologue in this new TV spot, featuring some lush neon vistas.

Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen:

The movie's villain, the Fallen, is one of 13 "original" Transformers. Sort of like Apostles. The Fallen is the one who turned evil (like Judas) and caused the Transformers to split into Autobots and Decepticons. And the movie takes place about a year after the first movie. [Transformers 2 Movie Chronicles]

Doctor Who:

So how is the time-traveling adventure show going to deal with the double-decker bus that got damaged en route to Dubai? The show already filmed David Tennant and Michelle Ryan getting on a London bus in London (aka Cardiff), but the supposedly identical bus that was supposed to arrive on an alien planet (aka Dubai) got smashed. What's the solution? According to 7Days, "Planet Of The Dead" was rewritten so that the bus collides with another spaceship while traveling through outer space from London, and then it crash-lands on the alien planet. [7 Days via Life, Doctor Who & Combom]

Meanwhile, the BBC released some new set pics from the show's filming in Dubai. How can Michelle Ryan stand to be out in the boiling hot desert in that outfit? Or is it not that hot after all? [BBC via Planet Gallifrey]

Torchwood:

A wild rumor is going around that Ianto Jones dies in the new "Children Of Earth" miniseries. Supposedly actor Gareth David-Lloyd wants more time to focus on his music career. The rumor seems super dodgy, but there you go anyway. [Doctor Who Forum via Adventures In Time & Space - beware explicit sausage-making photos]

Dollhouse:

Who was that creepy naked guy in the final scene of the first episode? He's a very important piece of the whole series' mystery, says Eliza Dushku. Meanwhile, we get some interesting backstory on Harry Lennix's character Boyd and how he came to work at the Dollhouse in this week's episode. [TV Guide]

Lost:

Here are a couple of sneak peeks from Wednesday's episode. And fans have already created Google Earth maps of all the coordinates included in the first sneak peek. [SpoilersLost]

Some upcoming episodes will have a theme of "same place, different time," as all the time-traveling shenanigans make it hard for people to connect up. It'll be sort of like Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind. [E! Online]

Here's the Canadian trailer for this week's episode:

Ben may have to settle for what he can get, when it comes to getting the Oceanic Six back on the island. And Ben will probably make time for his revenge on Charles Widmore at the same time as he's getting the Oceanic Six home. [TV Guide]

The next time we see Matthew Abaddon, it'll be yet another incarnation of him. But we'll be closer to discovering exactly who he really is. [IGN]

Fringe:

Olivia may have a love connection with her FBI colleague Charlie (Kirk Acevedo). We'll find out in the sixteenth episode. [E! Online]

Heroes:

Episode 3x24 will be called "I Am Sylar!", suggesting it's another Sylar-centric outing after episode 3x19, "Shades Of Gray." And here's what happens in "Shades Of Gray":

When Sylar (Zachary Quinto) comes face-to-face with his long lost father (guest star John Glover), the reunion proves to be what he least expected. Elsewhere, after receiving a tip from "Rebel," Claire (Hayden Panettiere) must decide if she will help her sworn enemy, Eric Doyle (guest star David Lawrence XVII), evade capture. Meanwhile, as "The Hunter" (guest star Zeljko Ivanek) plans to uncover the Petrelli family's secrets and take control of Nathan's (Adrian Pasdar) operation, Matt (Greg Grunberg) finds himself in the spotlight and on the verge of leveling Capitol Hill.

[SpoilerTV]

Chuck:

ChuckTV has the dope on what happens in the second season finale. Sounds like Ted Roark (Chevy Chase), the media mogul who's the rival of Chuck's dad, is in bed with Fulcrum after all:

Fulcrum's plan to steal the Intersect has not gone according to plan, and now "the Elders" are pissed. Ted Roark is in the hot seat, but he assures the Elders that he has something else up his sleeve.

Ellie and Awesome's huge wedding is in danger of falling apart, but Chuck is determined to give his sister the wedding day of her dreams. Meanwhile, General Beckman is called into a meeting with several other generals and government brass to report on the Fulcrum situation and the status of the new Intersect. Her people have the situation under control and Agent Walker will soon be on her way to her next assignment with a very familiar partner. Will everything go according to plan? Will Chuck finally get to live a "normal" life? And who are the Elders?

ChuckTV says the info comes from a reliable source, but still recommends a grain of salt. And here are pics from tonight's episode, plus the following episode. [ChuckTV and ChuckTV]

A hot MI6 agent (Jonathan Cake) will come in and sweep Sarah off her feet, taking her away from Chuck. [E! Online]

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles:

Agent Jones will figure out that there's something wrong with Catherine Weaver, even if he doesn't know she's a Terminator. Also, Garret Dillahunt says that when "John Henry" gets out and about, he'll be much more dangerous than "Cromartie" ever was. [Sarah Connor Society]

Smallville:

Here's a trailer for the March 12 episode, the long-awaited "Clark comes clean" story. (Presumably featuring its own reset button.) [EW]

And here's what happens in episode 8x18:

Davis Bloome's origins are revealed. Chloe and Clark discover that Davis has stopped in the same field that Clark landed back in 1989. Meanwhile, Chloe begins harboring a fugitive - Doomsday.

[Smallville Wiki]

Supernatural:

In the "Jump The Shark" episode, when we meet the third Winchester brother, there'll be another wink to fans: Sam and Dean will stop at a place called Cousin Oliver's Diner. [TV Guide]

Reaper:

Here's what happens in the first few episode of season two, "A New Hope":

Sam (Bret Harrison) returns from a road trip with Sock (Tyler Labine) and Ben (Rick Gonzalez) hoping to make things right with Andi (Missy Peregrym). However, when the guys return they discover they've been fired from the Work Bench and evicted from their apartment. With nowhere else to go, they head to Sock's house only to find a strange girl (Eriko Tamura) living there. Meanwhile, Andi refuses to talk to Sam and The Devil (Ray Wise) is back with a new assignment.

Also in the episode, "Andi and Sam discuss their relationship in the light of Sam's job with the Devil. Because the guys went on a road trip for a few weeks, they have to play catch up and capture 40 souls. In order to get their jobs back at the Work Bench, Sock blackmails Ted. The strange girl living in Sock's house is Sock's new half sister. Sock develops a crush on the girl."
