Director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, who many of you know from his work on 28 Week Later is set to remake the classic 1960s Roger Corman flick X: The Man With The X-Ray Eyes. The story follows a head strong scientist hell bent on getting X-Ray vision. But when his funds are cut (let's hope the rebooted movie makes good use of the recession) he uses his own body as a lab rat, and begins to grow. Normally I'm anti-reboots, but this is one film I think has had enough time to settle and could be remade into something ticket-price-worthy. [Variety]
