A Major Spock Video. Plus, Guess Who's Back On Doctor Who!

A new Star Trek TV spot includes a new version of Spock. (Update: correct video added!) Plus a major Doctor Who comeback is confirmed. And spoilers for Lost, Fringe, Smallville, Supernatural, Chuck and Warehouse 13.

Star Trek:

Here's a new official synopsis of the film, from the movie's web site:

The greatest adventure of all time begins with "Star Trek," the incredible story of a young crew's maiden voyage onboard the most advanced starship ever created, the U.S.S. Enterprise. On a journey filled with action, comedy, and cosmic peril, the new recruits must find a way to stop an evil being whose mission of vengeance threatens all of mankind.

The fate of the galaxy rests in the hands of bitter rivals. One, James Kirk (Chris Pine), is a delinquent, thrill-seeking Iowa farm boy. The other, Spock (Zachary Quinto), was raised in a logic-based society that rejects all emotion. As fiery instinct clashes with calm reason, their unlikely but powerful partnership is the only thing capable of leading their crew through unimaginable danger, boldly going where no one has gone before!

A new TV spot includes a bit of new footage - isn't that glimpse of baby Spock new? Also, there's some new dialogue, including Uhura's very relevant question for Kirk. (Update: Sorry, I was looking for the best version of the video, and I accidentally swapped in the wrong one. Here's the right one.)

Also, in case it wasn't clear from earlier reports, Captain Pike gets disabled, and Spock actually takes command of the Enterprise. Spock takes the opportunity to deposit Kirk on the nearest planet - which is where Kirk meets Scotty as well as Old Spock. [Film Journal]

Doctor Who:

Huge news! Apparently the show is gearing up to shoot some scenes at the house that doubles as Donna Noble's home, for the final David Tennant story. And residents of the neighborhood have been encouraged to put Christmas decorations up. (I'm wondering if the "Journal Of Impossible Things" book does fall into Donna's hands, and trigger a bit of a dangerous memory. She'll need to be mind-wiped again. I picture Donna looking up and saying, "Did I fall asleep?" And the Doctor answering, "For a little while.") [Doctor Who Forum via Planet Gallifrey]

Lost:

An "inside source" claims that one death will occur before the finale and another will happen during it. We may learn how Marvin Candle lost his arm. And something goes horribly wrong during the construction of a Dharma station. [SpoilersLost]

Here's the British synopsis for this week's episode:

After Jack refuses to help her, Kate is forced to strike out on her own in an effort to save Ben – but will the accident be responsible for turning the young Ben into the merciless killer he is later to become?

In order to protect Aaron, Kate begins to unravel the lie that Sawyer has carefully conceived to protect the group. But when Sayid escapes it becomes clear to Horace that there is a traitor within Dharma and the island's latest arrivals all come under suspicion…"

[SpoilersLost]

Fringe:

Here's the official synopsis for episode 16, "Unleashed":

AGENT FRANCIS FACES-OFF WITH A GNARLY PIECE OF "FRINGE" SCIENCE TUESDAY, APRIL 14, ON FOX. As animal rights activists ransack a laboratory, they get more than they bargained for when one of the caged "animals" unleashes a ferocious appetite. Leaving grotesquely mutilated dead bodies in its wake, the scientific engineered beast with the body of a lion, claws of an eagle, fangs of a viper, skin of a rhinoceros and tail of a serpent attacks Charlie. With Charlie's life on the line, Walter must come face-to-face with both his past and the beast.

And here are some pics. Plus, apparently the season finale will be called "There's More Than One Of Everything." [Fringe Television]

Supernatural:

Julie McNiven (Anna) told a convention her character will be in the 20th and 21st episodes of the season. [Dean_Sam]

Meanwhile, the none-too-reliable IMDB has this rumor about the season finale:

With Lilith on the verge of breaking the final seal, Bobby does the unthinkable and visits the crossroads to make a deal to bring back John Winchester. Armed with Ruby's knife he forces the unwilling deal maker to bring John back. Now, the three Winchester men along with Bobby and Ruby set out to stop the half pint demon once and for all. When Lilith surprises them with a resurrection of her own, Ruby visits the final resting place of Samuel Colt to even the odds. An all out battle ensues, the entire army of demons that was unleashed at the Devil's Gate appears, our little army appears to be defeated until Castiel returns with an army of his own to wage an epic war against evil, but will it be enough to stop Lucifer from joining in?

Also, there's a rumor that Ruby's going to be killed off during April's episodes. [Dean_Sam]

Chuck:

Here's the official synopsis for the season's penultimate episode, "Chuck Vs. The Colonel":

CHUCK AND SARAH RISK EVERYTHING TO FIND CHUCK'S FATHER- TONY HALE ("ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT"), CHEVY CHASE AND SCOTT BAKULA ("QUANTUM LEAP") GUEST STAR-When Chuck (Zachary Levi) and Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) go AWOL to rescue Chuck's father Steve (guest star Scott Bakula), they discover that spending time together without any surveillance allows for unchartered chemistry. But as the two get closer, Casey (Adam Baldwin) zeroes in on their hidden location. Meanwhile, Morgan (Joshua Gomez) becomes the pariah of the Buy More after mistakenly getting Emmett (guest star Tony Hale) promoted.

[Chuck TV]

Smallville:

In episode 8x20, "Beasts," Davis phones up Chloe to tell her that some people tried breaking into her apartment. He adds that he's "holding them here." Chloe tells him to let them go, but Davis says he can't, or they might go to the cops. [BuddyTV]

Also, only one member of the Legion of Super Heroes will turn up in the season finale - Rokk Krinn, aka Cosmic Boy. [KryptonSite]

Warehouse 13:

Here's a new interview with star Joanne Kelly, plus some clips, which could be new. [Sci Fi Wire]

Reaper:

Here's the synopsis for episode 2x07, "The Good Soil":

THE DEVIL ORDERS SAM AND MORGAN TO SPEND MORE TIME TOGETHER - Sam (Bret Harrison) and Morgan (guest star Armie Hammer) are forced to capture another soul together but Morgan decides to split, leaving Sam to do all the work. Meanwhile, Sam tries to win Andi (Missy Peregrym) back, and Nina (Jenny Wade) offers to take Ben (Rick Gonzalez) flying but he's afraid of heights.

Additional reporting by Alasdair Wilkins.
