Star Trek's Jar Jar, Lost's Unlikely Meeting, And The Time Traveler's Wife

Today's spoilers include more Star Trek details, and Transformers and Time Traveler's Wife pics. Also, bloody Lost photos and more Stargate lesbianism. Plus Doctor Who, Caprica, Supernatural, Heroes and Reaper. The spoiler army is unstoppable!

Star Trek:

Starpulse talks to Greg Ellis, who plays the Enterprise's chief engineer Olsen. As you probably already knew, he's the third guy who skydives down to the Romulan drilling platform, along with Sulu and Kirk. And he's wearing a red shirt, and you can guess the rest. He says it's a "crazy sequence" which involves lots of wire work. [Starpulse]

Sulu's first attempt at "driving" the Enterprise is a humorous failure, the "intergalactic equivalent of stalling a car." [BBC]

The moment, halfway through the movie, where the characters address the fact that Nero's time-traveilng has created an alternate timeline, and therefore they're living different lives than they otherwise would have, is a weird fourth-wall-breaking scene. And, as others have pointed out, the fact that Kirk gets dumped on the same icy planet as Spock and Scotty is a bit of an outrageous coincidence. Meanwhile, apparently Scotty's alien sidekick is named Keenser, and he's Deep Roy (aka Mr. Sin from Doctor Who and the Oompa Loompas from Willy Wonka) in an overalls, glasses, prosthetic hands and a "make-up mask" And Keenser may be Star Trek's answer to Jar Jar Binks.

Oh, and the reviewer says the film is chock full of fanservicey moments, but doesn't go into specifics. And here's a picture I don't think I've seen before. [Slashfilm]

Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen:

How have we gone so long without indulging in toy spoilers? It's a giant mystery. Here are some new pics of the Megatron toy from this Bayrageous film, which looks sort of epic and emotive. [TFW2005]

The Time Traveler's Wife:

Warner Bros. finally released a couple of promo pics of this long-awaited adaptation of Audrey Niffenegger's acclaimed novel, starring that tattooed Romulan. [Warner Bros.]

Caprica:

Jane Espenson says this series takes place before the colonies had unified under the quorum. And in the ongoing series, we will travel to other colonies. And there will be plenty of surprises in the way we get from the single Centurion with Zoe's personality to Cylon centurions we know and love from BSG. And the ongoing series will have more moments of humor and lightness than the pilot, now out on DVD. [Televisionary]

Doctor Who:

The show appeared to be filming a prison break at H.M. Prison Broadfell, and the Doctor and the TARDIS were there. Plus there's a 50 percent off sale at Henriks, which I think was the London department store that Rose worked at until it was blown up. And some kind of church scene, involving the Doctor and Wilf, plus a carriage-load of choirboys and various extras. Bernard Cribbins was doing some films with veteran actor Claire Bloom. Also, apparently, the show is about to film some scenes involving David Tennant and some "villains." And the new Doctor, Matt Smith, could be on set soon for several days, presumably filming his debut as the Doctor at the end of the two-parter. Photos by the amazing Scooty. [Doctor Who Forum]

Lost:

Looks like Penny and Eloise Hawking have an intense conversation in next week's episode, "The Variable," judging from some new stills.

Plus, here's what happens in episode 4x15, "Follow The Leader":

Jack and Kate find themselves at odds over the direction to take to save their fellow island survivors, Locke further solidifies his stance as leader of "The Others," and Sawyer and Juliet come under scrutiny from the Dharma Initiative.

(Young Charles Widmore and Young Eloise Hawking appear in this episode.) And there are some pics from 4x15, too. [The ODI]

It's hinted that the "Incident," which gives the season finale its name, will be the one which left the Dharma-ites having to push a button every 108 minutes. And Jacob may not be the only long-awaited character we'll get to see in the finale. And the finale's ending is an "explosive one," says Michael Emerson. [TV Guide]

Supernatural:

Ben "god among us" Edlund says Lucifer will be more of a looming presence than an actual person on the show. And the real villains of the piece are Sam and Dean's lady friends, including Ruby and Anna. [E! Online]

Stargate Universe:

As we already reported last week, this show will have at least two gay characters: I.O.A. representative Camille Wray (Ming-Na) will be gay, and so will her girlfriend Sharon. And producers say Camille will use the Destiny's "long-range communications device" to return home to Sharon for a brief visit. (Wait, they can go home whenever they want? Or am I misreading?) [Gateworld]

Heroes:

The death that "sticks" in the season finale is someone we've gotten to know quite well since season one. And in many ways, the killer also "dies," but we'll find out what that means next week. (And I'm guessing, Big Matt Parkman is the killer, and he "dies" by erasing all knowledge of his existence from people's minds. Or something.) Says Greg Grunberg:

My character is asked to do something, and does something, that is incredibly dark and results in the demise of another character. It's not expected. It's pretty sick. Torture is involved. It's someone we all know.

And in case you missed it, Tracy (Ali Larter) will be back in the finale. Also, in season four, we'll be spending lots more time with the 1961-era younger versions of Angela and her super-pals. Also, the season four Hiro Nakamura storyline is the biggest and most emotional thing the show has ever done [E! Online and E! Online]

Reaper:

Here's what happens in the May 5 episode, "My Brother's Reaper":

NINA MOVES IN WITH THE GUYS Since Ben (Rick Gonzalez) and Sock (Tyler Labine) burned down her lair, Nina (Jenny Wade) moves in with the guys. A remorseful Morgan (Armie Hammer) shows up without a place to stay, so Sam also invites him to live at the house but he turns into a horrible houseguest. Morgan not only flirts with Nina, but also puts Sam in a precarious position. Meanwhile, when Andi (Missy Peregrym) feels left out, so she lets Sock throw a bachelor party at the Work Bench, but things go horribly awry.

[Reaper]
