Discover Kick-Ass' Killer Schoolgirl And Iron Man's New Love Interest

We've seen the first photo of Hit Girl from Matthew Vaughn's Kick-Ass, and learned whom Tony Stark may romance in Iron Man 2. Plus Star Trek reviews and Dollhouse pics. Also, Lost, Fringe, and Smallville.

Star Trek:

The movie's sound effects include the thud of a phaser hitting a target. And there's no sound in space. Lens flare is a constant throughout the film, and the camera moves in such a way that when characters run down a corridor, you feel like you're running with them. Uhura "goes where no woman in Trek has ever gone before, combining a sexiness and a competency with an unexpected romance." Also, many of the things you've heard about this movie's plot may be red herrings. [Sci Fi Pi]

Not only is there Nokia product placement, but Budweiser as well. And of course, Slusho!, the fictional drink of J.J. Abrams characters everywhere. There's an Abrams-esque "gotcha" character reveal that will startle newbies. And the Beastie Boys' song "Sabotage" is used effectively. [CNET]

Iron Man 2:

Clark Gregg will be back playing S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Phil Coulson, who was struggling to come up with that acronym in the first movie. And Kate Mara will play an unspecified role, but speculation is she'll be playing Bethany Cabe, head of security for Stark Industries and a potential love interest for Tony Stark who also fights alongside him in the comics. [Cinematical]

Kick-Ass:

Here's our first look at Hit Girl (Chloe Moretz), the 11-year-old super-assassin trained by her dad (Nic Cage) since the age of four. Bigger version at the link. [Empire via Cinemablend]

Dollhouse:

Here are some pics from the season finale, "Omega." Echo and Sierra are bounty hunters. [Fox]

And Eliza Dushku was on the Bonnie Hunt show and they played a clip from Friday's episode:

Lost:

The "major-ish" death is coming very soon (as opposed to the "major" death, I guess.) And it's more "major" and less "ish." (Could this be the thing we mentioned yesterday? I'm still hoping that turns out to be wrong.) [EW]

Fringe:

Here are some spoilers for the season finale. What sinister secret does the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. hide?? [SpoilerTV]

Supernatural:

The comic-book geek/prophet Chuck will be back. [EW]

Dean and Bobby won't entirely agree on how to handle Sam's demon-blood addiction. And Bobby will try to help Dean with his guilt over not living up to his daddy's example well enough. Dean and Bobby will have some really intense scenes together. [TV Guide]

Smallville:

Doomsday and Clark throw down in the season finale, and Chloe tries in vain to keep them apart - but we're not sure if it's because she cares about Davis, or because she wants to protect Clark. Also, there are two big deaths in the season finale, plus a "metaphorical" death. (Or maybe one of those two deaths is metaphorical? Hard to say.) Chloe may or may not survive, but hers is a "tragic path" with a tragic ending. On the other hand, Chloe may be able to play a role in Clark's gathering superhero community.

Meanwhile, Clark-Lois fans will be having fits, watching some iconic Clark-Lois scenes. Also, we'll see the Justice League in a new way, and Clark's relationship with Green Arrow will be tested to the limit. And Clark will be paying the price for some huge mistakes he makes in the finale.

And next year, Smallville will be following DC Comics continuity more closely, and the producers say Clark will be changed by the events of this year's season finale, and he will have to become Superman. Does this mean he'll wear the spandex? Maybe, but not as soon as we'd like - because Tom Welling is resisting it. [E! Online]

Heroes:

The big death in Monday's season finale is really major, and "the death definitely sticks." But there's a twist - and it's possible no actor will be leaving the show. (In other words, someone gets mind-wiped, I'm betting.) Oh, and also the questioner asks about the major character whom "Sylar kills," but the answer doesn't confirm that it's Sylar doing the killing. My money's still on Matt mindwiping someone, probably Sylar. [EW]
