    BBC America Wins The Right To Run Doctor Who First — But Still Months Late

    BBC America outbid the Syfy Channel for the right to air Doctor Who first, citing the show's essential Britishness. The network, which already runs spin-off show Torchwood, will air last year's Christmas special on June 27, and the Easter special airs in July. Because the months-long delay ensures total freshness.
