What's the best way to salvage G.I. Joe the movie? Make it a self-aware comedy. Which seems to be the case of this zany new trailer, which is actually kind of funny. Like, Battlestar Galactica Cylon blooper reel funny.
So if this is the mentality they are going with, I'm slightly more ok with a shiny headed Destro and scuba-faced Cobra Commander, because it's all one giant parody of itself...right?...Right???
GI Joe will be in theaters August 7th, 2009.
