In response to our item in morning spoilers, Neil Gaiman tweeted that he's definitely not writing for Doctor Who in 2010. (Actually, his tweet could be interpreted merely as saying that he's not writing the tenth episode of the season, but people are taking it as a blanket denial.) Until now, Gaiman has maintained a policy of vagueness on the subject: whenever people have asked him if he's writing for Who, he's always given the same response: "It would be nice." (Here, here and here.) To my knowledge, this is the first time Gaiman has actually issued a denial, rather than a "neither confirm nor deny" response.
