Olivia Wilde Saddles Up For An Alien Shoot Out

Tron's hot new bot is ready to ride into the sunset with Daniel Craig in Jon Favreau's Cowboys & Aliens comic book adaptation.

Wilde will be playing the role of Ella, "who joins up with [the] mysterious gunslinger in an unlikely uprising against an alien invasion." While we can't wait to see Craig play a more genre-heavy role, fighting off aliens as a tough-guy cowboy, we're even more excited that Wilde has joined this crew.

There is no doubt the Tron Legacy will be a massive picture for her, but she's already won us over as House's feisty character Thirteen. With yet another scifi movie under her belt, will this new role confirm Wilde as science fiction's new leading heroine? Should Mila Jovovich and Summer Glau be worried?
