Goodbye Cylons - Vampires And Satan Rule TV This Week!S

In this week's What To Watch, we welcome back stalwarts like The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural - and wish Caprica adieu as it puts its cold, metallic feet up for a few months. Also, new Lost, Chuck, and more!

MONDAY 3/22/10

First off, there's new Chuck - it's "Chuck Versus the Final Exam" at 8 PM on NBC. Chuck must complete the final portion of his spy exam, but it's not going to be a cakewalk. Brandon Routh guest stars as Shaw.

On Syfy, there's two new episodes of Monster at 11 and 11:30 PM, and an epic Star Trek: The Next Generation marathon from 8 AM-11 PM. In other words, there's a high probability you'll see Riker play the trombone at least once today.

Late Night: Mark Valley on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon (12:37 AM, NBC).

TUESDAY 3/23/10

Lost soldiers on at with "Ab Aeterno" (9 PM, ABC). It looks like Ilana is schooling the would-be candidates. I don't know about you, but I'm irked that the rest of the season isn't a Sawyer and Miles cop show called Ghost Voice and Prime Rib. The tagline is "One talks to the dead ones; the other sexes the live ones."

There's also V: The Arrival, a recap episode just in time for next week's return of scaly Morena Baccarin.

Late Night: Scott Wolf (V) and Clark Duke (Hot Tub Time Machine) on Jimmy Kimmel Live (Midnight, ABC). Lizzy Caplan on Last Call With Carson Daly (1:30, NBC).

WEDNESDAY 3/24/10

New Human Target (8 PM, Fox) - in "Corner Man," Chance goes undercover as an ultimate fighter. Apropos of nothing, I am totally feeling Jackie Earle Haley's Jethro Tull look.

Also a new Ugly Americans tonight. In "An American Werewolf in America," Mark lays down his social working rap on some lycanthropes and some more Charles Burns-esque weirdness will sear your eyeballs.

There's also a somewhat comic-themed episode of Is It Possible?. In "Ironman, Batman and Flexi-Woman," the program delves into real-life exoskeleton armor (10 PM, Discovery). There's also a new MonsterQuest, "America's Wolfman" at 9 PM on History.

Late Night: Bryan Cranston on Late Show With David Letterman (11:35, CBS). Gabrielle Union on Jimmy Kimmel Live (Midnight, ABC)

THURSDAY 3/25/10

New FlashForward on ABC at 8 PM. In "Blowback," Zoey attempts to change Demetri's destiny and Aaron just want to know why all those darn military men want his daughter.

The Vampire Diaries returns after a long hiatus with "A Few Good Men" (8 AM CW). Melinda Clarke guests as Matt's mother. Yowza.

Supernatural is back as well with "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid" (9 PM, CW) Unfortunately for Dean and Sam, a bunch of zombies are back too, running amok in Bobby's hometown. Ruff-row.

FRIDAY 3/26/10

New Caprica - " End of Line" (9 PM, Syfy) According to Syfy, "Daniel sets a deadline to reset the Cylon, forcing Zoe to find a way to save herself; Barnabas clashes with Clarice, with Lacy caught in the middle; Daniel make a confession to Amanda." This is the last one until the series returns in the fall, so get your Cylon fix while you can.

Goodbye Cylons - Vampires And Satan Rule TV This Week!S

New Star Wars: The Clone Wars hits Cartoon Network at 9 PM. In "Cat and Mouse," Anakin and Obi-Wan become entrenched in a battle with Admiral Trench. I hope their battle occurs in a trench, just for consistency's sake.

Get ready for next month's Clash of the Titans remake with the original on TCM at 10 PM. Harryhausenriffic!

Late Night: Bryan Cranston on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon (12:30, NBC)

SATURDAY 3/27/10

Lean day, unless you're into Syfy Channel creature features. If so, prepare not to see the sun.

9:00 AM - Locusts
11:00 AM - Rock Monster
1:00 PM - Grendel
3:00 PM - Ogre
5:00 PM - Hellhounds
7:00 PM - Carny
9:00 PM - Dark Relic
11:00 PM- Monster Ark

SUNDAY 3/28/10

Some readers have inquired why we'll include Breaking Bad in What To Watch. Short answer: it's science nerds gone crystal meth crazy and it's all sorts of good. In this week's episode, "Caballo Sin Nombre" (10 AM, AMC), Walt tries to get his family back with Saul's aid.
