Robosaurus torches cars and tosses them to the ground with contempt, as he makes his debut in Sydney, Australia. This is not your average robot monster: It took 30 companies two years to create this 27-ton, five-storey robot.

This robotic despot is 22 years old this year, and is a pop-culture icon, having been featured in The Simpsons and made a public appearance for the first Transformers movie in 2007. But this is his first Australian appearance in a decade, and he's looking meaner than ever in these new photos.

Robosaurus will be taking part of Sydney's Easter Show from April 1 through 14. But select Australians (and a few unlucky cars) got a sneak preview of the robotic monstrosity yesterday. Robosaurus does not care about your pathetic human transportation needs! Robosaurus cares only for carnage and destruction! Well... carnage, destruction and video poker, apparently.
