Milla Jovovich is back in black, as Resident Evil's T-Virus-slaying Alice. The first pictures from Resident Evil: Afterlife are filled with contaminated bodies, guns, some old friends and Alice's thigh holsters. Bring it on, lady.
Here's the official synopsis:
Resident Evil: Afterlife picks up where the third film left off. Since the events of Resident Evil: Extinction, Alice has been roaming the world searching for any remaining survivors. As she enters the ruined Los Angeles, she stumbles onto a prison surrounded by zombies. She then teams up with a group of survivors who had been hiding in Los Angeles since the T-Virus outbreak and helps them break out other survivors held within the jail which include Claire's brother Chris Redfield.
Resident Evil: Afterlife is set to hit theaters September 10, 2010. And the trailer is supposed to go live this Saturday, after premiering at Wondercon.
Looks like Alice, or an Alice clone — let's not forget, in the last movie Alice unplugged an army of Alice clones — is deep in another Umbrella lab... via the red and white sign in on the left. Looks like more nefarious experiments are going down under the evil eye of the Umbrella scientists. It also looks like Alice has the same response to their genetic tinkering as she did before: kill them, kill them all!
Happy to see Ali Larter's character Claire Redfield is still alive, sad to see she never made it to Alaska.
Who is in the reflection of the sunglasses? We can't make it out, please help!
Could this be Nemesis, or a Nemesis-like creature? Could Matt Addison still be "relatively" alive?
