Discover who's playing Hal Jordan's dad, and your first look at Jackie Earle Haley's Freddy Krueger. Find out what the third Riddick film is called. Daleks help you understand electoral politics! Plus Kick-Ass, Resident Evil, Walking Dead and True Blood.
Hal Jordan's dad, Martin H. Jordan, will be played by The Closer's Jon Tenney, who says he appears in some flashbacks to when Hal is 11 years old. (Meanwhile, Tim Robbins is playing Hector Hammond's father, a U.S. Senator. He's not playing Tony Stark's father — sorry about yesterday's mix-up, which is what happens when we add things to morning spoilers at three in the morning.) [Superhero Hype]
Chronicles Of Riddick:
Apparently the third Riddick film will have the subtitle "Dead Man Stalking." [ShockTillYouDrop]
Here are interviews with director Chris Nolan and composer Hans Zimmer in which they literally say nothing new about this movie. But just in case you haven't heard the basic synopsis before, here it is directly from Nolan. [Reelz Channel]
Resident Evil: Afterlife:
Milla Jovovich says Alice is a lot happier, and more at peace with herself, in this new movie, due to developments we'll find out about soon — and she's more open to relationships with people. And that may include a romantic relationship. Also, says Jovovich:
She loses her powers in this movie. She loses her powers in this one and it's actually a really great thing and sometimes it makes her human again which she's wanted. I think it gives her a lightness too and like, a sense of relief to just be a badass again and not have to be a superhero. I think that shows throughout the rest of the movie is that kind of, in a strange way, a joy of just being herself again which is great.
Sounds like she fought that change, but her husband Paul W.S. Anderson convinced her it was a good thing. [ShockTillYouDrop]
ZOMG! A new clip, plus a buttload of TV spots.

Another new TV spot:
The Radio Times has a few awesome new stills from "Victory Of The Daleks." [BlogtorWho]
New Radio Times covers feature different-colored Daleks — if only you could really vote for the Daleks! They'd soon sort out the economic crisis! Umm... I mean, oh no. That would be terrible. [Doctor Who News Page]
The Walking Dead:
There's been a rumor going around that Brandon Routh was co-starring in this adaptation of the zombie comic — and Routh himself debunked it. [ShockTillYouDrop]
In this week's landmark 100th episode, one person dies, one person makes a sacrifice and one person takes on a new role. [E! Online]
Apparently in the big musical episode, it's not just that Walter's telling a bedtime story to Olivia's niece — it's that Walter's received upsetting news and is doing a shit-ton of marijuana. And then he's telling a bedtime story? Or just sitting there hallucinating? I guess we'll find out soon. In any case, Olivia's "retro private eye" persona plays a huge role, and we get to see how he really perceives her. Check out the cute pic! (More of that pic at the link.) [EW]
Here's another new promo for season three. [SpoilerTV]
Ashes To Ashes:
Looks like it'll be a Ray-centric episode in 3x03, judging from these new pics. [Den Of Geek]
A new clip from this Friday's "Upgrade". [OSCK]
Here's what happens in episode nine, "Heretic's Fork":
LIVES OF THE FIFTH COLUMN MEMBERS ARE IN DANGER, RYAN FINALLY REVEALS HIS TRUE BEING TO VAL, AND CHAD BOARDS THE MOTHERSHIP TO HEAL HIS ANEURYSM, ON ABC'S "V." Erica, Father Jack and Hobbes realize that the Vs know names and addresses of The Fifth Column members and must take drastic measures to protect them. Meanwhile, Ryan finally reveals to Val that he's a Visitor, and Chad, with the camera rolling for "Prime Focus," begins the process aboard the Mothership's Medical Bay to have his aneurysm removed, on "V," TUESDAY, APRIL 27 (10:02-11:00 p.m., ET), on ABC.
The April 29 and May 6 episodes will be really good, according to inside sources. Because of delays, the actual events of April 29 (the day everyone saw in their flashforwards) will happen on May 6 — but the April 29 episode will start to set those events in motion. Also, this show may actually get a second season, because of great overseas performance. [E! Online]
Here are synopses of episodes 17 and 18:
4/22/10: "The Garden of Forking Paths" - The clock is ticking on Demetri's life as Mark and his team go in search of his whereabouts; terror suspect Alda Herzog promises to give Zoey intel on where Demetri is - but at a price; and Olivia learns the identity of the person who sent her the text message informing her that Mark was drinking in his flashforward, on "FlashForward," THURSDAY, APRIL 22 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
4/29/10: "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" - Janis continues to thwart her fellow FBI agents as an inside mole to a mysterious employer; Olivia is given some disturbing news by Gabriel (James Callis, Gaius Baltar on "Battlestar Galactica"), who has been subjected to numerous flashforwards; and Aaron's life is in danger in Afghanistan when he tries to blend in with the locals as he continues his search for his daughter, on "FlashForward," THURSDAY, APRIL 29 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
Some photos from episode 17, "The Garden Of Forking Paths." And people have been noticing that both this show and V have "Fork" in their episode titles, on the same week. Significant? [SpoilerTV]
Here's a sneak peek from episode 16, "Let No Man Put Asunder." [SpoilerTV]
David Blue says the dynamic between Eli and Rush will change:
I definitely think you'll see a different dynamic. Because of the dynamic that was created and ended in "Justice," I think Eli and Rush are going head to head. I think it's a Mozart/Salieri relationship. Although because of everything that's happened, you're going to see more of Eli not just doing what Rush says. Eli is going to ask, "Tell me why you are doing this? Or, I'm not doing this for you because I need to know what's going on." Eli is coming into his own and that frustrates the heck out of Rush.
Episode 14, airing in a few weeks is a big game-changer, and you'll die when you watch it. (I believe this is the episode before the big Jacob/M.I.B. flashback.) [E! Online]
Desmond is going to show everyone in the L.A.-verse a glimpse of the other world, and we'll see what happens when these universes collide, says Henry Ian Cusick. And we shouldn't jump to any conclusions yet about which is the "real" universe, or which universe the show will end up in. Also, if everyone in the L.A.-verse sees his/her "true love" when he/she glimpses the Island-verse, it'll be interesting to see who Jack and Sawyer see. Also, we'll learn tonight what Smokey wants with Desmond. [TV Guide]
Someone visiting the filming says that the new set that everyone thought was a new hatch is actually a new airplane set. So the finale will have significant scenes on board an airplane. (If this report is true, that is.) [SpoilersLost]
