This incredibly short-lived police dramedy gives Ernest Borgnine's beat cop an android partner. And, yes, it looks as gloriously shitty as it sounds.

Hard to say what's the worst part of the intro for 1977's TV series Future Cop: John Amos' badly stereotyped mugging ("man, that's the fastest white boy I ever seen") , Ernest Borgnine's ridiculous voiceover, or the fact that Michael Shannon's "Haven" sounds like a poor man's C-3PO.

Still, you've got to appreciate the willingness of television executives in the late '70s and early '80s to try just about anything. You'd never get something as energetically ill-conceived on the air today...and I'm not sure we're better for it.
