Joss Whedon's The Cabin In The Woods should have been released months ago, but then it was delayed until early next year because MGM wanted to convert it to 3-D. Now we're hearing that because MGM is $4 billion in debt and nobody wants to be its new CEO, this film may be stuck in release-schedule hell. (Yes, this is the same clusterfuck that indefinitely delayed the next James Bond movie and forced Guillermo Del Toro to quit The Hobbit.) The Hollywood Reporter predicts that Whedon's Cabin may be delayed further, along with Red Dawn. [THR via Slashfilm]
