Good news, everyone! Futurama is back on the air!S

After disappearing for more than half a decade, Futurama is back to fill our lives with more Morbo, Richard Nixon, and Hedonism Bot — it's about time! Also, Doctor Who, Ashes To Ashes, Mythbusters, True Blood, and Dinocroc versus Supergator!

MONDAY 6/21/10

There's a new Persons Unknown (10 PM, ABC, "The Way Through"). After a week, the captives are unable to escape, but a helicopter drops a curious box.

A new season of History's Detectives (9 PM, ABC) kicks off with "Space Exploration" — on this program, a number of mysteries and artifacts from the space race days are investigated, including the claim that there's Andy Warhol art...on the moon?

Tonight there are two new episodes of Monster on SyFy ("Johan's Footprints" and "Welcome Home," 11 & 11:30 PM), and new episode of Neighbors From Hell (10 PM, TBS, "Gay Vampire Mexican.")

Late Night: The Twilight: Eclipse invasion kicks off on late night with Dakota Fanning visiting Jay Leno (11:35 PM, NBC).

On a new Ashes to Ashes (10 PM, BBCA), Alex wants to go home, but an important case has her distracted.

WEDNESDAY 6/23/10

There's a new Mythbusters ("Car Conundrum") on Discovery at 9 PM. On this episode, the team questions all myths automotive. (Note: Folks are saying this clip is old, but this is what Discovery provided as a promo clip. Odd!)

On a new episode of Through The Wormhole with Morgan Freeman (10 PM, Science), Morgan and his dulcet pipes ponder "Is time-travel possible?"

On Encore, From Dusk Til Dawn airs at 10 PM, and the film adaptation of Blindness by the recently departed José Saramago is on at 11:50 PM.

Late Night: Jimmy Kimmel is hosting Twilight Saga: Total Eclipse of the Heart with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Dakota Fanning, Bryce Howard and Xavier Samuel at 10 PM on ABC. They will all be wearing Nosferatu make-up.

THURSDAY 6/24/10

After 7 years of being off the air (and four straight-to-DVD movies in between), Futurama returns with a vengeance. The night begins on Comedy Central at 8 PM with the last of the DVD movies "Into the Wild Green Yonder," and at 10 PM, the new season kicks off with a doubleheader of episodes ("Rebirth" and "In-A-Gadda-Da-Leela"). The Professor must resurrect his crew using "the birth machine," and Zapp and Leela are marooned on a paradise planet. Thank Sweet Zombie Jesus!

Also, we have a rare treat on Fox Movie Channel — Dario Argento's 1977 ghostly horror flick Suspiria is on at 10 PM. This film is roundly lauded as an Italian horror classic and contains an awesome soundtrack by the band Goblin, Argento's frequent musical collaborators.

On Showtime, there's a new episode of Penn and Teller: Bullshit! ("Martial Arts") at 10 PM.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show is on Fox Movie Channel at 8 PM. There's a Primeval marathon today from 11 AM to 5 PM on BBCA, and an Early Edition block from 8 AM to 4 PM on SyFy.

On SyFy we have the latest creature feature of the week Dinocroc vs. Supergator (9 PM)! This is either a love story or a documentary — I'm not sure which. And look, David Carradine!

SUNDAY 6/27/10

New True Blood tonight! On "It Hurts Me Too," Sookie ventures to Mississippi (to find the King of Mississippi's Big Gay Vampire Ranch) with the werewolf Alcide in tow. How rad was last night's episode? Bill threw a vase at Lorena and she exploded! Also, Jason Stackhouse's lack of libido is bringing me down. "Conscience off, dick on!"

Be honest — did anyone watch Desperate Housevamps, i.e. The Gates last night? In any case, there's a new episode on tonight (10 PM, ABC). Nick is disturbed by the mystery of the Gates, while Andie comes to terms with her emotions for Charlie. Are people feeling this show, or is it only good for unintentional hilarity?

On Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, comedians Dino Stamatopoulos and Andy Dick host Frankenhole , a stop-motion animation tribute to Mary Shelley (or something). If you dug Moral Orel, this could be up your alley. The show debuts at 12:30 AM
