Exterminators of the Year 3000 = the Italian Mad Max rip-off that kicks Mel Gibson's assS

Director Giuliano Carnimeo's 1983 post-apocalyptic flick Exterminators of the Year 3000 may seem like a Mad Max clone at first, but its criminally inept production values elevate it to cult nirvana. Also, it has the most brutal trailer ever made!

Carnimeno fills the flick with needless explosions, dozens of slow-motion car chases right out of Blue Brothers, a synthesized soundtrack that sounds like analog flatulence, and a plucky child sidekick with a cybernetic arm and a pet hamster. Also, the love interests in the film are named "Alien" and "Trash." Really, that's all you need to know.
