Case 39, the child-demon-baby horror movie filmed back in 2006 when the Ring "kids are evil" horror phase was still popular, has released a mess of clips. But will this movie hold up in today's theaters? You be the judge.
Here's the synopsis for Case 39: "A social worker fights to save a girl from her abusive parents, only to discover that the situation is more dangerous than she ever expected." From what I've seen, it appears to be resting heavy on the "quiet, quiet, quiet, AAAHHHHH something is coming to kill you" scares. Which is a great way to get the Halloween ball rolling this month, but are evil little kids, or little kids haunted by evil, really that scary anymore?
Case 39 is in theaters this weekend.
