How many times do you have to murder the android version of your ex before calling it quits? Hopefully, dark comedy Android Re-Enactment will have the answer. Plus, Mega Shark Vs. Steve Urkel, and a scene from Ice Quake.
We're not 100% sure what's going on in this little indie, but we're certainly interested in the dark turn the trailer takes about halfway in. Does that curly-haired robot stab himself in the head? We can't find much else about this project other than it's being directed by Darryl Shaw and the official synopsis, but we're still very interested in the dark tone and array of ray guns.
Ermus, an obsessed scientist, tampers with the unstable emotions of android replicas of the people surrounding the greatest heart break of his life. Soon the lines between reality and fantasy are blurred, and Ermus is forced to confront a surreal nightmare.
Here is a sneak at the next Syfy TV movie called Ice Quake. Let's just say this movie takes the frost chase scene from The Day After Tomorrow and cranks it up to 11 (minus the wolves). You do not want to miss this moment, because it's frost burned into my brain forever. Syfy TV movie action at its highest, seriously we've DVR-ed it.
Starring Brendan Fehr (Bones, Roswell) and Victor Garber (Glee, Alias), Ice Quake premieres
Saturday, December 11, at 9PM (ET/PT). In the movie, the melting Alaskan permafrost is
about to drastically alter the tranquil Christmas scenery. As the permafrost thaws, underground
rivers of volatile liquid methane are created, causing a succession of violent and destructive
One family, separated by the disastrous events on Christmas Eve, must find each other (and
their dog!) and then work together in the unforgiving Alaskan wilderness to stop the deadly
methane rivers before they lead to a catastrophic explosion that threatens the entire planet.
Mega Shark Versus Crocosaurus
The Mega Shark cannot die. This time he fights a Crocosaurus and Steve Urkel (Jaleel White). While we're VERY excited for Mega Shark anything, we're still kind of holding out for Mega Shark Vs. Mega Unicorn. Mega Shark Versus Crocosaurus will be released on December 21st.
A long time ago we heard about the zombie comedy Deadheads (a film told from the recently undead's POV). We thought it was going to be about stoned zombies who play hacky sack and lay around in the public park all day. We were wrong, turns out it's a bit of a on-the-road-zombie comedy. And here's the first trailer, enjoy.
DEADHEADS is a "zombedy" that is sure to impress—pleasing both horror and action-adventure fans alike. Yup, you heard it first. Horror, meets comedy, meets action adventure!
DEADHEADS is a return to the great comedy/adventure films of the 80's like "Back to the Future" and the "Goonies". The story follows two zombie slackers, Mike and Brent, who find themselves surprisingly reborn from the dead amid a disastrous zombie outbreak. After discovering an engagement ring in his coat pocket, Mike enlists his new found zombie pal, Brent, to embark on a quest in search of his lost love.
What ensues is a hilarious cross country road trip as these two reformed flesh-eating pals hitchhike cross country as they are pursued by a team of zombie killin' bounty hunters!

Quiet Earth pointed our attention to this trailer for the Spanish alien invasion film SOLOS. The short teaser is pretty fantastic (we like the glimpses into random character's dens or kitchens blasting the ominous newscast about rampant fires in the US and Mexico). The movie is being directed by a Pablo Olmos Arrayales. Alas, according to QE this is just a fake trailer, as SOLOS hasn't even started filming yet. But we still enjoyed the teaser, fake or not.
