Black Swan helmsman Darren Aronofsky is plenty busy with The Wolverine for time being, but in 2012 the director will release Noah, the comic book incarnation of one of his unproduced film projects. Details are scant on the comic's script, but Bleeding Cool reports that the director will be joined by Pride of Baghdad illustrator Nico Henrichon, and in 2008 the director told Slashfilm that the book will delve into some green themes:

It's a really cool project and I think it's really timely because it's about environmental apocalypse which is the biggest theme, for me, right now for what's going on on this planet. So I think it's got these big, big themes that connect with us. Noah was the first environmentalist. He's a really interesting character. Hopefully they'll let me make it.
