Thursday marked the final flight of the Space Shuttle Discovery, and one lucky airliner was fortunate enough to witness its launch from a high altitude. And even better, one of its passengers was able to video Discovery taking off.

Passenger Neil Monday snapped this footage of Discovery (which also contains a robotic crewmate) using his phone while flying out of Orlando International Airport. For another angle of the launch, check out this photograph captured from a camera phone hoisted by a weather balloon. Also, here's a launch photo of the Johannes Kepler ATV taken from the International Space Station on February 16.
