Van Halen's Sammy Hagar was abducted by Aliens

Ever wonder where former Van Halen lead singer Sammy Hagar found inspiration for the UFO abduction songs like "Silver Lights" and "Hot Rocks"? From personal experience. Yes, Hagar was abducted by aliens. Multiple times.

Inside Sammy Hagar's new memoir Red, the Red Rocker reveals that he was abducted by aliens. In an interview with MTVHive, the singer elaborates on exactly what happened:

"[Aliens] were plugged into me. It was a download situation. This was long before computers or any kind of wireless. There weren't even wireless telephones. Looking back now, it was like, Fuck, they downloaded something into me! Or they uploaded something from my brain, like an experiment. See what this guy knows.

Apparently aliens have been tapping into his brain since he was four years old. But he didn't understand the technology behind it, which is why he has been mum about the details, until now. The abduction was allegedly some sort of wireless mind share. Sadly, the aliens had no explanation for Diamond Dave.

He continues on to say that the writer of the memoir (Joel Selvin) held him back from revealing too much about his past experiences with UFOs, but he's got enough material for an entire book. Sammy, don't let him stop you — we'd buy that book!
