When Yuri Gagarin flew around the Earth in 1961, there was no video recording of what he saw — we only have an audio recording of his astonished observations. But now, for the first time, the crew of the International Space Station have recreated the view of Earth from the same path Gagarin's capsule took, in high-definition video. The resulting film, "FirstOrbit," will launch on Youtube next month, on the 50th anniversary of Gagarin's flight. [BBC]
