New horror comedy Dylan Dog follows a supernatural peacekeeper (Brandon Routh) who mediates between the zombies, vampires and werewolves of our world. This first clip lays down the guidelines for zombies, and we managed to ask Routh himself to elaborate.
As you can see from the clip, the zombie beauty regime is complicated, so we asked DD actors, Sam Huntington, Routh and director Kevin Munroe to explain all the good Dylan Dog details further:
And here are a collection of stills showing the desk that the director was speaking of, including the ship-in-a-bottle, the now black bug, the signature jacket, and the infamous clarinet all from Tiziano Sclavi's graphic novel.
Honestly, we're pretty excited for this film, it's pretty cute. And the timing may be perfect — if this film had come out a few years back it might have been piled under the tons of supernatural chaff. But now that some time has passed since the recent vampire blitz, it may be time to have a little fun and laugh at the whole supernatural world. It seems like this movie is trying to put a new spin on an old monster, which we like. Plus, for some reason, it has a Hellboy feel to it, and that's a good thing! Blockbuster? Probably not. But a quality HBO rewatch? Most likely.
