Iain M. Banks dominates the "books that should become movies" poll

Not only is Iain M. Banks very generous with his time, he's also the author that British fans most want to see on the big screen.

The Register posted the poll we mentioned a while back, of books that deserve their own movie adaptations, and five out of 50 choices are Banks novels. And Banks' Use of Weapons is winning the poll in a landslide, with only Larry Niven and Larry Pournelle's The Mote in God's Eye even coming close. Are you paying attention, Hollywood? [The Register, thanks Chris!]
