Is Christopher Nolan refusing to write down the ending of The Dark Knight Rises?

In an effort to stymie blabbermouths, director Christopher Nolan's apparently only revealing the ending of The Dark Knight Rises to select cast members. And according to Gary "Commissioner Gordon" Oldman, Nolan's directorial omertà is so thorough that he won't commit the ending to paper.

In an interview with Contact Music, Oldman elaborated on Nolan's spoiler-proofing efforts:

"Christopher doesn't want anyone to ruin it and I completely understand that.

"The newer people on the film go to his office to read the script. They sent mine out, but it had to be hand delivered directly to me and nobody else. And the final few pages were missing.

"I went along and talked to Christopher and in person about the ending. Then I locked it away in my head."

You hear that, spoiler junkies? Unless you have a magic door to the interior of Gary Oldman's head à la Being John Malkovich, Nolan's keeping this movie on lockdown. (And if you know where that magic door is, please tip us.)

You can't exactly blame the director, after a metric crap-ton of spoilers leaked out of Pittsburgh shoot. Heck, people had their wedding photos taken on set. But unless Nolan's going for a super-intimate finale in the vein of My Dinner with Andre, he'll have to rope some of the crew in.
