In Wednesday's comics, a new Wolverine dons the spandex. Also, dog detectives!

Comics come out tomorrow! What's the scoop? There are the rebooted adventures of those rebooted X-Men, the new adventures of the old New Teen Titans, and exorcist pets! All that, and Mark Twain!

First Issues

It's week three of the DC relaunch, and 12 first issues are on the stands. We're particularly looking forward to Scott Snyder's Batman (interview about that here) and Brian Azzarello's mythology-heavy Wonder Woman.

The rest of the titles in the DC batch include Birds of Prey, Blue Beetle, Captain Atom, Catwoman, DC Universe Presents, Green Lantern Corps, Legion Of Super-Heroes, Nightwing, Red Hood and The Outlaws (below), and Supergirl.

Other first issues that have piqued our interest are Nick Spencer's new run on Ultimate Comics X-Men, the Game of Thrones ongoing from Dynamite, IDW's Abrams-centric Star Trek series, and the miniseries BPRD: Hell On Earth Russia, which sees gasman Johann Kraus fighting a fungus monster in the Kremlin. Can't argue with that.

Grab Bag

The fourth issue of Dark Horse Presents is on the stands. What's the selling point here? Evan Dorkin and Jill Thompson's horror series Beasts of Burdenwhich is getting a movie treatment — kicks off a new story arc. Canine detectives fighting horrific demonic bad guys! Awesome ipso facto!

There are also new issues of Jonathan Hickman's time-traveling fighter pilot book Red Wing, Brandon Seifert's Witch Doctor, Fables, Avengers: Childrens Crusade, X-Men: Schism, DMZ, and The Boys: Butcher, Baker, Candlestickmaker.

Graphic Novels

Marv Wolfman and George Perez helm Teen Titans: Games, an original graphic novel that takes place in the 1980s when Starfire was a fresh-faced ingenue. But the real question is, will noted creepbag Terry Long show up?

There's also cartoonist (and occasional TV Funhouse contributor) Michael Kupperman's Mark Twain's Autobiography: 1910-2010, which sees the famous author embracing wizard-bestowed immortality and fighting yetis. Read a preview here.

There's also the fourth volume of Chew, the second volume of Morning Glories, Hellboy: Bride Of Hell And Others, and the first volume of Godzilla: Kingdom Of Monsters.

As usual, here's the list of everything being released to comic stores tomorrow, and you can find your nearest comic retailer here. Rock over Galador, rock on Bald Mountain! Alan Moore's beard — it makes him look like evil Santa Claus!
