Exclusive footage from In Time shows the madness of a world where rich people live forever

Take an exclusive look inside Andrew Niccol's (The Truman Show, Gattaca) futuristic class warfare flick In Time — where time really is money. Meet Will (Justin Timberlake), a working stiff who wakes up every morning with 24 hours on his life clock. Plus Sylvia (Amanda Seyfried) a rich girl with plenty of time on her hands. And a timekeeper, or future cop (played by Cillian Murphy).

Here's the basic premise for Niccol's new film: At 25 years, everyone's biological clock stops ticking and each citizen is given one more year to live. Which means that no one ages in this future world. And if you run out of time, you die — unless you're rich enough to add more time on your wrist clock. When the green clock on your arm hits 00:00:00, you die. So you have a whole society of poor folk working to stay alive, while the rich sip champagne and live forever looking beautiful. Here are three clips from the film that show more of the character storyline.

Will (Justin Timberlake)

Sylvia Weis (Amanda Seyfried)

Timekeeper Raymond Leon (Cillian Murphy)

A couple of things we noticed in the new clips, that we wanted to point out. Yes, that is Vincent Kartheiser (who plays Pete Campbell, the guy who we love to hate from Mad Men) as the big bad, Philippe Weis. And if you notice, he's got a mean security team with him. But when you live in a world where people stop aging at 25, this is what your security guards look like: hot young thugs!

Also we may never get over seeing signage that offer years as a reward. Looks wild.

In Time will hit theaters October 28th.
