The first ever images from Tim Burton's black and white stop-motion movie are out, and they're already looking like a pair of Burton classics. Take a look at a boy and his reanimated undead dog, based off the short that got Burton canned from Disney when he was just starting out.
Entertainment Weekly has the first look at Burton's new movie, which is basically a reboot of an old short he pitched to the Disney execs back in the 1980s. Strangely enough Disney wasn't into the idea of a young boy trying to bring his beloved pet back from the dead. And fired Burton shortly after.
But then Burton went on to be a legendary filmmaker, and now Disney is giving him another shot at his picture, his way. Looks really really fun!
